Thanks for doing this video! I didn't know about the resin and the trick of using warm water to help remove both the leaves and the resin. Watching this video saved me some grief before making my first batch of Salsa Verde. One thing I learned as I cooked the tomatillos is that they mostly wanted to float stems up, leaving the tops less cooked. I solved this by putting the lid back on my saute pan, keeping more of the heat in. That was enough to get the tops cooked also.

Nobody lets the water run freely from the faucet anymore. Warm some water in a pan, it's ecofriendly and gets under the paper skin better. Also, boiling is not necessary if you are going to roast anyhow, boiling removes some of the flavor.
