Dispersion of light is the phenomenon of splitting of white light into its component colours.
    20:57
Total internal reflection will happen when the angle of incidence is greater than the critical angle.
    24:34
TIR ..Light will reflect in the same medium ( here water )
    28:08
Yes rainbow is a complete circle, the aircraft men can see a complete circular rainbow from height ..Or we can say above the horizon.
    39:00
Clouds mainly composed of dust and water vapour particles which are generally larger in size as compared to the particles present in sky and since we known that for the scattering to be happened particles size must be small but the condition is not satisfied here and that's the reason that larger particles of cloud cannot sactter light and the normal refraction happens and thus we are not able to see any colour of cloud and it appear white.
Other reason is also there that they scatter all the colours of light equally that's why we are not able to see any specific colour and they appear white.
Now during rain or thunderstorm clouds appear dark because the most of light is scatter from the upper part of the cloud not do not by the lower region and thus we see the lower part of clouds black.

Question - WHY CLOUDS APPERS WHITE ?
Answer - Clouds ⛅ appers white because it contains dust particles in it which prevents scattering of sunlight ☀ (white light) then it reflects towards our eyes 👀 and thus it looks white in colour.

Sir, A1) The phenomenon of splitting of white light to it's 7 constituent band of colors is known as Dispersion of Light.
A2) When the angle i will be more than the critical angle the the phenomenon of Total Internal Reflection will take place.
A3) Last ray of the torchlight will under go the phenomenon of Total Internal Reflection.
A4)i)Yes, A rainbow is a full circle but we only see half it as the viewer/observer can only see the rainbow above the horizon.
ii) It depends on the observers position too relative to the, the observation of a rainbow can only take place if the observer himself/herself has the sun behind them and the water droplet through which the dispersion of light took place in front of it. So, we can't be sure if we can or cannot see the rainbow from an airplane.
A5) Clouds consists of small water droplets which scatters the white light coming from the sun, making it's appearance white and fluffy.

39:08 it is because they scatter all colors of SUNLIGHT equally so its like newton's double prism effect all colors mix again to give white light hence we see the clouds white. 39:09 they are black as the upper part scatter the white light so that appears white but the part below it which we see can't scatter light so water molecule and hue gather there giving it a black look thats why we see the thunder clouds black...

Clouds exists at the lower part of the atmosphere. The partiçles making up the cloud are larger in size and the size of scattering particles increases, all the colours of visible light are equally scattered. Hence the resultant light is white in colour.

Clouds appear white because the particles that scatter must be smaller than the wavelength but the particles in the cloud ie dust n water vapour are larger than the wavelength.
Therefore, when white light or sunlight passes through the cloud, no scattering happens n hence we see the cloud to be white.

clouds are at much lower height the size of scatterer is much greater than the wavelength of light They are seen due to scattering of light due to lower parts of earth's atmosphere, which contains large dust particles. Rather, all wavelengths are scattered nearly equally. therefore, all equally scattered colours merge to give us the sensation of white. Hence, clouds generally appear white.

That is, a cloud gets thicker and denser as it gathers more water droplets and ice crystals - the thicker it gets, the more light it scatters, resulting in less light penetrating all the way through it. The particles on the underside of the rain cloud don't have a lot of light to scatter to your eyes, so the base appears dark as you look on from the ground below

I just have a confusion that why the rainbow shape is in the form of arc, as the water droplets are everywhere around the atmosphere but still why the rainbow is at it's specific place?
And the reason behind black cloud is that when the water is overfilled with water, the sunrays coming to earth cannot pass from that heavy cloud and thus formation of shadow takes place so the heavy cloud look dark to us just because of the shadow formed by the water droplets.
