39:07 Clouds are white when water and dust particles of cloud scatter all the seven color. and Clouds are dark when heavy water and dust particles of cloud does not scatter any color.
* The clouds ☁ appear white because the sunlight can easily pass through them. * Before raining ☔ clouds appear black because the the clouds contains too much water. Due to this the sunlight is unable to pass through it. That's why clouds apper black before raining.
When a ray of white light passes through a prism then it split into seven colour are called spectrum and this phenomenon are known as dispersion of light . Is it right?
When white light is passed through a glass prism it splits into 7 constituent colours to form a band of seven colours. This phenomenon is called dispersion. The band of seven colours due to dispersion of white light is called spectrum

Because clouds are made up of many water molecules which again act as prism and hence disperse light into various colors which recombine to give white color as a result similar to Newton's double prism effect. Thank you so much sir...... Great explanation....🤩💞

1:46 dispersion refers to the phenomenon of scattering of white light into 7 colors that combine in specified ratios to form that light these colors are Violet Indigo Blue Green Yellow Orange and Red
1:49 Dispersion of light - It is defined as the splitting of white light into its seven constituent colours on passing through a prism is called Dispersion of light
When light travels toward denser to rarer medium with angle of incidence greater than critical angle then the refracted ray instead of emerging out, goes in the same medium is known as total internal reflection
@Gamer's Rock yeah because light travels first in vacuum in vacuum the light will be black after it travels in atmosphere the white light changes to blue because in atmosphere there are small particles of nitrogen and oxygen
clouds appear white because in clouds there are larger particles which spread all seven colours and hence they appear white clouds appear black during rain because they stop lights from sun and appear dark from below
38:58 Clouds are white because light from the Sun is white. As light passes through a cloud, it interacts with the water droplets, which are much bigger than the atmospheric particles that exist in the sky. Right?
53:45 , sir jo time calenders me diya rehta hai ki itne time sunrise ho ga itne time sunset hoga wo 2 minute pehla ka diya rehta hai ya actual diya hota hai?
39:09 Clouds appear white because the particles that scatter must be smaller than the wavelength but the particles in the cloud ie dust n water vapour are larger than the wavelength. Therefore, when white light or sunlight passes through the cloud, no scattering happens n hence we see the cloud to be white.

clouds are at much lower height the size of scatterer is much greater than the wavelength of light They are seen due to scattering of light due to lower parts of earth's atmosphere, which contains large dust particles. Rather, all wavelengths are scattered nearly equally. therefore, all equally scattered colours merge to give us the sensation of white. Hence, clouds generally appear white.
@@otakuvarun3878 Rain clouds are dark instead of white because of their thickness, or height. That is, a cloud gets thicker and denser as it gathers more water droplets and ice crystals - the thicker it gets, the more light it scatters, resulting in less light penetrating all the way through it. The particles on the underside of the rain cloud don't have a lot of light to scatter to your eyes, so the base appears dark as you look on from the ground below
39:31 sir because....clouds toh exactly dust particles h so jb sunlight pass hoti h clouds me se toh it prevents scattering that's why only path of whitelight effects clouds & clouds appear to be white
Question - WHY CLOUDS APPERS WHITE ? Answer - Clouds ⛅ appers white because it contains dust particles in it which prevents scattering of sunlight ☀ (white light) then it reflects towards our eyes 👀 and thus it looks white in colour.
Why cloud apper white Ans: • clouds are formed by water vapours. • water vapours condense to form water droplets due to larger size of droplets. • all colours of light are scattered and clouds appear white. I hope this answer is right ☺😄
Dispersion:-The splitting of white light into it's seven constituents of colours i,e... VIBGYOR is called dispersion of light. The angle of incidence corresponding to which the angle of reflection is more than 90 degree then it is called internal reflection
39:02 I think cloud appear white because it refracts all colours when light is passes through it.if it's wrong then anyone reply me what's correct answer..
sir apne diagram me voilet ko upper dikhaya aur red ko bottom me..lekin apne notes pe likha hai ki red rainbow ka upper me aur violet mai hoga...konsa thik hai sir
Happy teachers day sir .... whatever I am because of you and your motivation I am so blessed to such have a teacher like you ...you are my mentor and light🙃🙃
U r amazing sir Thanku so much for clearing my concept I just have a confusion that why the rainbow shape is in the form of arc, as the water droplets are everywhere around the atmosphere but still why the rainbow is at it's specific place? And the reason behind black cloud is that when the water is overfilled with water, the sunrays coming to earth cannot pass from that heavy cloud and thus formation of shadow takes place so the heavy cloud look dark to us just because of the shadow formed by the water droplets.
Well, acc to me everyone knows what discord is And if someone doesn’t IDk what he/she was doing the whole year Also it can be that in ur local area people don’t know about it
The tiny water droplets and ice crystals in clouds are just the right size to scatter all colors of light, compared with the smaller molecules of air that scatter blue light most effectively. ... When clouds are thin, they let a large portion of the light through and appear white.

When a ray of white light passes through a prism then it split into seven colour are called spectrum and this phenomenon are known as dispersion of light . Is it right?
Yeah
Yes this is correct.
Yes.. You're right bro
you are absolutely correct
When white light is passed through a glass prism it splits into 7 constituent colours to form a band of seven colours. This phenomenon is called dispersion. The band of seven colours due to dispersion of white light is called spectrum
A rainbow is a complete circle. We can only see a semicircle because of the horizon. Full circle rainbow can be viewed from top of a mountain or an airplane.
There are many other types of rainbows like Double rainbow (whic is concentric circle)

The splitting of white light into seven colours is known as dispersion of light
Firstly, the cloud doesn't apper white it apper blue.
@Gamer's Rock yeah because light travels first in vacuum in vacuum the light will be black after it travels in atmosphere the white light changes to blue because in atmosphere there are small particles of nitrogen and oxygen
@Gamer's RockSimilarly it's due to nitrogen and oxygen molecules.
It's also called spectrum

Clouds appear white because the particles that scatter must be smaller than the wavelength but the particles in the cloud ie dust n water vapour are larger than the wavelength.
Therefore, when white light or sunlight passes through the cloud, no scattering happens n hence we see the cloud to be white.

Hlo
Splitting of white light 😁
@@raheefhassan4131 I know that splitting of white light
clouds are at much lower height the size of scatterer is much greater than the wavelength of light They are seen due to scattering of light due to lower parts of earth's atmosphere, which contains large dust particles. Rather, all wavelengths are scattered nearly equally. therefore, all equally scattered colours merge to give us the sensation of white. Hence, clouds generally appear white.

Ok thanks for the explanation I got it but than why does the cloud appear black sometimes
@@otakuvarun3878 😂

Why cloud apper white
Ans:
• clouds are formed by water vapours.
• water vapours condense to form water droplets due to larger size of droplets.
• all colours of light are scattered and clouds appear white.

I just have a confusion that why the rainbow shape is in the form of arc, as the water droplets are everywhere around the atmosphere but still why the rainbow is at it's specific place?
And the reason behind black cloud is that when the water is overfilled with water, the sunrays coming to earth cannot pass from that heavy cloud and thus formation of shadow takes place so the heavy cloud look dark to us just because of the shadow formed by the water droplets.
