What a class act from Josh: the song was not written by him, it is on the edge of his vocal range, complicated to set up live guitarwise, yet he was the one who seemed to be the most adamant to grant little Maggie's wish. So yes, he struggled a bit in the chorus, but we've all been waiting for 15 years to hear this, and while all of the peppers made this possible it looks like Josh is the one to thank for.

They don't typically play this song because of the many layers of guitar make it difficult. But Josh promised our daughter, Maggie, who is very sick they would play it for her. She had told them back in February at Madison Square Garden that her favorite album was "By the Way" and she really liked the song Dosed. She likes all their music of course."
Donnadesousa (Mother): "She is my daughter and a huge fan of the band, Anthony, Flea, Chad and most of all Josh, took her under their wing and made her last months on this earth special. Krista Mehanikova i thought the same, even with josh singing a little weird sometimes, this song carries a lot of feeling, I feel like john carried all the technical vocals while ak was just a guy who could feel the flow of the music and go with it back then when john was in the band, but now, ak sounds much more mature in terms of musicality and he really helped josh in some parts of this song that is really difficult
