You could make a trap in a lake that you have one block of water on top and signs under it than a lava pool the kill them (or put them in the slab place you used for your forest trap) and when you get into the water you dont jump in and walk in so you dont fall through bu tthe person will jump in after you and fall into the trap as they will sink a few blocks in the water and fall to far to climb back out of.
