(Might be a long read) So I play bedrock and I'm big into trapping. I play the server called lifeboat and it has the goofiest physics. No redstone works. They patched floating sand with 2 high flower glitch. And if a sand block is on a torch and water breaks the torch, the sand will not update until the water is removed. So I played around with it for a bit. I found that an anvil will work instead of sand. So I designed this trap where there's a bait block (usually diamond or iron) and I place a torch behind it and a gravity block on top of that torch with a water source in a 1 block hole above the gravity block. Below that bait block, there's an anvil on a torch and a 1 block hole behind the block the torch sits on. On the anvil I place signs that work as release for the gravity blocks that sit on top of them. So when someone mines the bait block, the torch behind breaks, the gravity block falls into the one block hole behind the anvil torch, the water is released and breaks the torch the anvil sits on and the signs all break releasing the gravity block floor. The only issue is that you can log and you can set ur spawn. Well I decided to set it up and I waited for like 30 mins for someone to come to the coords I dropped in chat. Too bad it was a hacker with aura. So I ran, but then thought I could lead him to the trap. So, I ran right to where I had the trap set (I place multiple bait blocks so the actual one wasn't too suspicious). And right when I got to the area, I logged hoping he'd get greedy and take da bait. He did 💀. But when I logged back in, he logged before he could hit the ground. That's it really lmao. Just thought I'd share that just in case anyone plays on a similar server. Hackers man, bunch of wet socks.
