When you are coming from oman towards Riyadh, you have to take a left from Bhatka Interchange towards Riyadh and the right which is towards UAE border. So you will find a petrol pump at a distance of 500 meters from the interchange which is visible on the right side.

Great info in a thoroughly made video. Could you please answer below queries - 1. Which is the best place to rest if one does'nt want to cover Riyadh to Muscat in a single stretch? 2. Are there vehicle insurance and SIM Card stores at the border crossing? 3. Are there enough petrol stations or should one carry 20 litre petrol spare in a can? Again, thank you very much for the video.
Thank you for the comment brother To answer 1- first best place from riyadh to rest is haradh as there are some SASCO petrol station with all facilities , next is shubayta which is around 500Km from Haradh then its Ibri which is 450 km after that and then muscat is 300km from Ibri But haradh and shubaytah you can rest in mosque , only Ibri will have hotels , no hotel are the in between 2- vehicle insurance yes on border on both side but i did not see any sim card on Oman side, ibri is just one hour from the border so you can get a sim over there 3-depend on your vehicle yes i had 80 lts capacity on the car so i had faced no issue now i have found another petrol station at the batha interchange so i can say petrol stations will be at every 350 km so should not be an issue Do share with your friends and family Thanks for subscribing
Hi Its all desert all there until riyadh Option 1 Start from muscat and stay overnight in ibri then start early and reach in 15 hours in riyadh with some breaks Option 2 I can see a hotel at right of batha interchange on google which is 800 km from muscat so you can stay overnight there or furthur into batha city before abu dhabi border but you will loose like 3 hours drive as you need to come back again towards riyadh maps.app.goo.gl/2NiYfZgDaJbepKBw6?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy Call them to check condition

Never take the haradh kharj road. Always better to go via hofuf, better road and also joins the Riyadh Dammam highway with all facilities.
Yep thats also an option
Brother - one thing you missed
there is ALBATHA pump near T Junction - its a must to fill
Yes i realized it late which is towards UAE border so should not be a big trouble even for small cars
