Neighbors FED UP!!! With This TERRIBLE YARD!

- This week I came across a house that I knew I had to clean up. A few days later I went to ask if I could clean up their lawn completely free. There was no answer so I bounced around looking for a neighbor that could answer my questions about this house. That's when I knocked on one of the neighbors door’s and I asked them if they thought it would be okay to do a free yard clean up on it. They were so excited to hear that and immediately told me they would love that. A few moments later the same neighbor gave me the homeowner’s contact information and also told me that the house was being renovated about a year ago and the work was never finished. So, I gave him a call and he was super skeptical on why I wanted to give his house a free clean up. I finally convinced him and got to work.
This yard transformation took me two days to complete because there were so many issues I ran into on day one. I lost my microphone I had just bought that night before, broke my glasses, and I was running out of daylight. Despite all the delays I got it done.
For this lawn clean up I started off by weed wacking everything with my echo weed wacker then I switched to my trimmer attachment and trimmed all the bushes. Next, I moved on to blowing all the debris and leaves into piles with my husqvarna backpack blower. Once I got a few piles I grabbed my 32 gallon plastic bucket and filled each bucket to the brim with leaves and debris. I repeated this process of weed wacking, leaf blowing, raking, and filling up buckets a few times until there was no more debris in sight. Lastly, I mowed over everything with my honda lawn mower.
I hope you all enjoyed this satisfying yard clean up video and maybe a clean lawn with help to get the homeowners to continue their remodeling. I had a yard guy who had people work for him. I would always leave drinks in the garage refrigerator. I opened the garage door when they came so they could chose their drinks and insisted they take an extra drink with them. I hope everyone thinks about those who work in the heat and dusty air that they would give them at the very least a bottle of water.

Only sad thing I saw was the leaves left on the trees still to fall. lol You did an awesome job. Many times I see a yard in my neighborhood that brings the neighborhood down. Thank you for what you do.

I love trees since they help clean the air and provide shade with slightly cooler temperatures. I just wish more people would clean up the leaves when they fall. Street drains cannot keep up when they get clogged with leaves then you have flooding. 😊❤

Pretty impressive. I know you can only do so much on a free overgrown yard but I’m hardcore about bushes and hedges cut way back below windows and fences and off the siding. Even though they may look rough for awhile they’re not dead and unfortunately regrow quickly. Really nice end result.

When trimming bushes I prefer the bottom row or two to be removed so the bush has better airflow and leaves don’t get stuck underneath. It just looks neater to me.
When using the leaf blower don’t be afraid to use it on everything, window sills, bushes, stacked items, etc. Also, instead of trimming and mowing around things see if it can be moved or shifted out of the way, like that wood piece on the ground near the house.
All walkways look so much better after the edges are tidied up.
Those two big old trees have some massive roots! If they ever topple over the whole front yard goes, too.
*For your safety,* and as you can afford it, consider buying an orange safety cone or two AND some reflective striped tape to apply to the ramp across the top and bottom when it’s closed. 😊

That was hard work. Believe me. I’m 65 and I’m slowly trying to get to clean up the leaves in my yard. Bags and bags. It’s back breaking work. You did an awesome job. That was a lot of leaves.

That was a labor of love for sure mowing, trimming bushes and trees plus picking up soooooo many leaves. Yup Fall is a mess of leaves for sure and backbreaking work. Being senior's here and in our mid 70's I am thankful to God we still maintain our quarter acre of trees, garden, bushes, etc. I do the manual labor work and hubby rides his John Deere LOLOL I keep asking him to show me how to ride it but he refuses .....go figure LOL.

Major improvement! It's so great that you remove all the leaves and clippings and really clean it up. Those roots were something to work around! Great job. So much better! Huge improvement. The yard really needs about 12 yards of good soil over those tree roots & around the house. Then some sod grass. What you did for the yard I am sure made the neighborhood happy!.

You really worked hard. This was because there is no other to remove tons of fallen leaves. You did get some help with your motor driven equipment which was a bonus. Other videos I have seen are all about stand on mowers etc.

It looks 100% better, but next time, blow the leaves out of the hedge and off the pile of wood. Please don't throw the dirt on the grass. It just makes a nasty brown spot when you mow it.
