I believe it works better with regular powerstanced light greatswords, because you can do a jumping or running powerstanced attack into the final hit for your regular powerstanced combo.
use this talisman with giant crusher -> rkr + r1(bait) + r1(final hit of chain) . The Rkr buffs and "count" as first r1 if done in sequence in the right setup can oneshot meta hp :v
Kabuto is indeed a Pokemon, it's also the Japanese word for helmet (or at least one of the words). The Pokemon is a little Rock/Water dude with a hard shell.
The first fight was awesome. The use of the pot to keep him from healing is what I love to do with groups when invading. It freaks at least one or two of them out and makes it easier to kill the one cocky over leveled phantom in every invasion lol
Twinblade talisman was already a very interesting option on collosals, because RKR counts as the first attack, and they have only 3 attacks in their combo. So basically you'd get RKR attack, followed up by attack enhanced with twinblade talisman. And if your opponent avoided the first attack but you hit him with the next, you get both RKR and twinblade.
You know, as a cooperator I don't always have a good relationship with invaders - you guys are the wasp at my picnic, the mosquito buzzing around my room while I try to sleep. But watching your videos has given me a new level of respect for reds. The amount of actual legit gank squads you have to deal with is insane, as is the number of players whose entire combat strategy is to spam an obnoxious ash of war or spell constantly. I find it annoying when 1 red guy mashes L2 all day, but having to deal with 3 players doing the same thing must be infuriating.
I finally going in an making my first int build in fromsoft game after 500 hours of playing an beating the game but i'm doing it way different an going arcane swordsman build staffs only an shield is allowed no other weapons. im lvl 49 an doing 1-3k damage its insane. ps its a new game character so i have to get everything all over again but its humbling as hell.
Lost you beautiful bastard, thanks to this video, I found that running R1 > L1 also gives you the final chain attack which benefits from Twinblade Talisman. Edit: Looks like even Jumping L1 (or Jumping R1 for Rellana's blades) does as well. So you actually have R2, Charged R2, Jumping R1/L1, and Running R1 all combo immediately into the final hit.
Chrightt dropped a video explaining how to chain light greatsword attacks and how they skip combo moves. The combos flow so if you're just used to spamming it feels weird but once you learn the kit it feels really smooth. There might be more combos that can take advantage of this talisman if you like using off meta stuff.
the moment i saw the talisman in the vid, i thought "oh he must have watched chright's video for sure", but the fact lost used only the rellana twinblade and not PSLGS, meant that wasn't the case. PSLGS has iirc a combo or two extra that can take advantage of the talisman(i just can't remember which) still personally i just prefer using two-handed lgs, for one simple tech and reason: when two-handing the milady, if you delay a jump atttack enough that it becomes a landing attack and spam R1 at the correct rate, you can reliably get another R1 followup after that is NOT however a regular R1, but a crouch R1, despite never going crouch. i dont' know if this is a true combo but at the very least i can tell you that if you can connect that crouch attack and then do an R2, the R2 will be a frame trap and hit the enemy if they rolled out of hitstun. if all hits connect, you'll be doing upwards of 1600+ damage, and i'm sure there's ways to extend this combo even forther with a ravioli step or certain weapon arts.
You can also use two Miladys and jump attack chain with them. It turns their 3 stage combo into a two stage same as what you are doing here so that extra 45%? damage happens a lot faster.
Kabuto is a type of Japanese helmet, not a theatre show. That would be Kabuki. Easily understandable mistake to make, though. Also yes, it's a Pokemon too.
I wonder if the talisman can be used by mixing R1s and R2s, since the light greatsword moveset does not always make you start from the first attack of the chain.
I quote “usually a weapon has so many attacks that the talisman is useless for pvp, however the twinblades are different” “So you might ask, are they good for pvp? No.” 🤣🤣🤣
I guess I learned today people consider the Twinblade talisman useless?? Lmao I honestly find it does work when paired with poise-heavy weapons like UGS & zerging/kill hungry gankers. Zweihander gigavigor build for life 🤘
I always assumed it buffed the last third hit when powerstancing daggers, or for daggers with R2 double attacks like Erdsteel or Black Knife I assumed it buffed the second hit, so how does this talisman really work in those cases? Or is it just useless for daggers?
doesn't the sword of night's AoW count, or the Wing Stance last hit of the triple swipe, spinning slash? Or do AoW's just not count? Actually wondering about that.
Not even gonna watch it, I'm just guessing it's using the fact that the jump atk follows-up directly into the normal combo finisher. This was my entire playstyle when the DLC dropped. It was such a powerful combo + the healing cloth procs twice from it as well.
Kabuto is a Japanese word for Helmet. The theater term you were thinking of is Kabuki. 🙄 There was a notable character in the Naruto series who went by Kabuto. Although, it turned out that was a name he chose for himself as a kid.
leave it to lost to eat a sacred bloody flesh and then try to heal the poison
I mean those items are still very new and rarely used because they are limited
I believe it works better with regular powerstanced light greatswords, because you can do a jumping or running powerstanced attack into the final hit for your regular powerstanced combo.
Damn, leave it to Lost to find a use for about anything in this game.
This has been known for 2 months

I remember gigas practicing this hahaha
Gigas is the jank god hahahahaha

"Kabuki" is probably what he was thinking of
Kabutops?
It also refers to stag/horned Beetles

Chrightt made me realize this too! I started using this talisman for this weapon yesterday lol

With the recent patch to colossal weapons, Ghiza's wheel might be viable now.
Has me excited
I got my Greg plushie!!! ❤❤ I was going to take a picture and show you on Twitter but I forgot you didn't have one
@8:15 now that was an amazing and epic fight!! definitely wish had camera on so coulda seen facial expressions in that one! haha
FINALLY someone did it
I allways knew it but somehow everyone ignored it.
that twinblade talisman is base with dance combat. pretty much its for duel wielding.
23:51 "What's up"
In this context, the right question should have been "What's down". 😂

when i tried the moveset of these things i was curious if anybody would end up covering this. Cool to see the talisman get a small niche
The jump attack also goes into the final hit and works as a roll catch
THE GLADOS FIGHT, LETS GOOOOOOO NICE JOB LOST

(tested this against optimized armor using a magic milady buffed with magic shrouding crystal tear, millicent prosthesis and rotten sword insignia)
Never tested this, but I knew the light greatswords would be the key to making the twinblade talisman more viable!
Wow!!! This is definitely gonna do well in pvp!
"Ladies and gentlemen and everyone in-between"
:D
GG GLaDOS.
Great fight!
Gg all...but that blue.
Don't colossal weapons only have a 3 hit combo? This talisman should be called the colossal talisman 😂❤
Kabuki is the traditional Japanese theater.
7:18 can't believe you used you're blessing from Marika, but I guess it was the ideal moment technically. And wow you used it to the utmost.
You can also use two Miladys and jump attack chain with them. It turns their 3 stage combo into a two stage same as what you are doing here so that extra 45%? damage happens a lot faster.
My Greg finally showed up!!!!!! He's amazing eeeeeeeeeeeee thanks Lost
Lost has Found
I think this works with jump r2 first as well
Twinblade tali only works with light chains. I know heavies chain too but it’s strictly for light chain finishers
@@SyntheticShinobi I meant jump r2 into light attack skips the first three attacks in the light attack chain like in the video
@@_bstr_ct1832 ah ok. And I think you’re correct because there’s one less attack in the chain if you start that way so it is advantageous
LOST I GOT MY GREG‼️

8:15 hes like damn why isnt he dead yet
@Lost
Apply twinblade talisman to martial arts build(?) Every single heavy attack I'm pretty sure is a "chain attack," but I could be wrong
Nice to know your friend has clean toes
That also works with jump attacks
a Kabuto is a Japanese samurai helmet.
I wonder if the talisman can be used by mixing R1s and R2s, since the light greatsword moveset does not always make you start from the first attack of the chain.
Lost, why are you using Golden Vow and Uplifting Aromatic?
Aren't the aura buffs that override each other?

I detest pvp as i hate most people, but ironically, i love watching your invasions. Cheers Lost!

It's light great sword, not twin blades. Twinblades are a different weapon class, those are just called Rellanas twin blades.
Leave it to Lost to never being found.
