4964, I agree with you 100% they talked about that 1 other time somebody really took offense to the point and I said they were too beautiful for tattoos.

Tattoos hold their color for a few years, then they turn an ugly gray-green. As your skin stretches with age, they also distort and stretch. I like the temporary ones!

As someone once said - "Hell yes it hurts!". I have my family crest on my right bicep - took about an hour. Imagine getting stung by a bee FOR AN HOUR. If you ever get one, remember two things - they are harder to take off than put on, and what ever you pick - YOU BETTER LIKE AS IT 'S PROBABLY GOING TO BE THERE FOREVER!!! Personally, I love tattoos. To me, they symbolize important things in my life right now and it's beautiful art if done right. Some people may not agree, and that's fine too.
But she's old enough to decide for herself if she wants a tattoo or not. I do think what Pau said is sensible: if you have a tattoo idea, sit on it for 6 months before getting it. 😊

While I don't regret getting mine some 45+ years ago as a young Marine at Camp Lejeune, they're kinda faded and hard to make out.
Could've had them redone a time or two over the years, but it would probably cost more to fix one than I paid for all 3.

I was at Camp Lejeune for the month after boot camp then about 3 at Cherry point. I got two of mine at shops in the Camp Lejeune area. about 30 years ago

I know Pau got on on the back of her neck, but full tattoos are just so cliche. Besides the girls skin is basically perfect. To be honest the cool thing is be different and don't get them. Eventually your skin sags and wrinkles making the tattoo look weird. Are you gonna still love that tattoo you got at 18 when you are 70? I grew up in 80s and that was the earliest explosion of tats, and at first yeah it was cool. Then it gets old after a while because everyone wants them. What's original about that? If you need memories just take lots of photos.
Stick with the temporary tattoos because if you go permanent you can never remove it

Glad tattoos are a bit outdated. I almost got them back in the day, but could never really find anything I liked enough to put on my skin. I can't really see her getting any at all. Somehow it wouldn't suit her.

It would be the stupidest thing to do. People use tatuajes as a lame let-out, as a shallow look-at-me-I'm-a-badass-and-totally-interesting, as a feeble attempt to be something they believe they cannot be in any other way (like working hard to become a rock star, for example). Short of being a jail in-mate, tatuajes are just lame, fake and totally infantile; and I believe that once people look for status thru looks instead of character and merit, they lose whatever edge they might've had up to that point. But, in the end, it's her call and nobody else's.
Want some advise about tattoos? My father had many on his arms made in a gulags in the Soviet Union when he was about your age. But you should see them after forty five years later. If fading would be the only issues, I would say, it’s OK. But every one of us aging. Some of us aging gracefully, but the majority becoming wrinkled and those damn skin become like an oversized balloon without air underneath. Please tell PAU, and to your other sister that to become a cool person, you have to be cool in your head, but the look of full arm tattoos didn’t make anybody cooler than what is in their head. You all three are the coolest chicks I have ever seen in my long life. I’m not saying that some hidden places doesn’t look inviting for any man or women with some tattoos but size matters even there. Tattoo ink containing chemicals, and being a female could bring unwanted surprises if any of you become pregnant. The offspring will be already poisoned because of that ink.
