The reality is that they frequently cannot. This woman probably has a negative net worth and has no means to locate new housing. My only question with that is if they’re so excited about Mexican independence and whatever then why did they leave Mexico to come live in America? Like you wanna move and I’m sure or I hope they’re all legal citizens of this country but I doubt it then you need to be happy about our Independence Day. If I was to move to Japan which is my dream I would adopt that culture and on the Fourth of July I wouldn’t subject everyone else to me blasting off fireworks and everything else. I just think it’s a little disrespectful for people to live in another country and instead of adopting that culture you expect American culture to adopt your country.
@@williambiggs9752 I think of it as being similar to the Irish celebrating St. Patrick;s Day. It's just a fun way to celebrate the heritage of the family. In Chicago, it's pretty standard for the various nationalities to celebrate their heritage. Italians celebrate often on March 19th, St. Joseph's Day, Polish celebrate their Independence Day, and so on. They also celebrate the 4th of July for America. I, personally, think that it's the beauty of the U.S. to be a melting pot of people from around the world who want to live and experience the freedom that the U.S. offers to everyone, not just a few.

THUS, she doesn't have extra money from not paying utilities! ALSO, what was the possible indication of him trying to help her get (3?) different jobs, oh, nevermind your honor...???
She's not packing to move, she's just moving all her stuff to the porch in case he locks her out of the house. All that stuff she claims is so horrible about living there but she doesn't want to leave....
She sounds like a speed freak. I KNEW she was going to accuse him of sexual harassment. I KNEW IT. She just needs to move already. If it was SOOOO bad there, was is she still there? WOW
Oh sweet Jesus! 😂 Between the “I didn’t get served any documents …. To the here’s a copy of all the documents I was swerved…with the documents looking like some dirty ass scraps that look like they’ve been stored under water for 259 years… to the “I’m not allowed to get mail to the paying my rent triggers my ptsd. “ 😂
I LOVE this judge. This is exactly how Id run my courtroom if i were a judge. Very organized, explained to both parties, all while being kind and even tempered and in total control of the courtroom.
He acts like he left half his brain at home with his tablet. She acts like she is on meth
Exactly my belief, no twisting my wrist. I believe you. 😂😂
Isn't she????????
Acts like ? She could be in the substance abuse textbook under “methamphetamine”.
Anytime these people get to ask questions you can just see the power immediately go to their heads
Imagine *wanting* to be a Judge.
It’s days like that where you would question your decision to go into the law.
Is the judge involved in the witness protection program? It’s highly suspicious that we never clearly see her face! LOL!
Good Lord, or as Judge Bryant would say, Sweet Jesus! This was so painful to watch. Judge Taylor handled it beautifully, but I’ll bet she wanted a strong drink when this was over.
The best argument in court ever "he knows what he's doing right now." lmfao
What’s sad is that I have zero doubt that her dog has done everything she’s claimed. Dogs mirror their owners. Her emotional lability no doubt causes her dog to be destructive and erratic. I feel for that doggo and any kids she may have, who soak up her emotional stay too, sadly.
Hey Lady no smoking meth before court 😂
He's a man of few words, I can relate. I'd be a bit more prepared with an overabundance of paperwork though. 😂😂 21:00
This judge is amazing. The way she explains everything is excellent and she is very accommodating to the pro de defendants. She is very fair and made the right ruling.
These non payment of rent cases drive me crazy!
It's like the landlords have no rights.
One of my customers received no rent for 9 months, and spent a ton of money trying to get her out, every week it was a new excuse.
He also had new renters waiting willing to pay $1000.00 a month once she was out, so he lost over $12,000 because of this POS.
I was a landlord for 10 years of a single family home, and had 3 sets of tenants in that time.. One good one, and 2 terrible ones.
After the second one's boyfriend got mad at her and broke out every window in the house (including a small 4" x 2" viewing window in the antique front door), I fixed the damage and sold the place..
Never again!
May be stop screwing your tenants
@@roybaenisch7533 So you're one of those people who sees a few bad apples and throws out the entire bunch. Or, you're a tenant who doesn't pay their rent and thinks it's okay. Neither is a good look.
It happens. Ok. Its not right but with this story there's alot more going on. I believe he was trying to trade rent for sex
We've seen this before
How not to behave in court... and not come prepare in court.
I am shocked the dog didn't eat the journal.
I bet the dog is even shaking his head at her.
Texas knows Mexican Coca-Cola! Mexican coke is a whole 'nother thing that can get you featured on Law Talk With Mike.
Honestly though as a property manager - tenants like this are very very difficult and are becoming more common. It’s not tons of fun!
Oh dear, about 20 minutes in and it is indeed unwatchable…however I’m not a quitter so I’ll struggle through.
If he is counting how many day she had her air-conditioning on. That to me says he cut her electricity.
Already have a headache, not many minutes into the case. I can't drink due to health issues. Maybe pain med time.
😂😂😂😂
Why do people think they can get a court to enforce the law if they just vaguely make a claim? No paperwork... no dates... no real story.
Here I am, paying my rent like a sucker.
"Think of the methed of thoughts that are circulating around in that thing!" 😂🤣 MikeMikeMike.. that's methed up!
I feel soooo bad for the landlord. She is Psycho.... please refile and GET AN ATTORNEY!!!!!
Totally agree with Mike: The plaintiff desperately needs an attorney, even though he’s probably in the Right.
OMG, she's reminding me of what Lily Tomlin used to do on Rowan And Martin's Laughlin. She'd be so excited (e.g. meeting James Garner) that she'd talk a mile a minute and constantly go off on tangents.
THAT's why this sounded familiar!! Laugh-in... I think she's a lifetime awardee of the Flying Fickle Finger of Fate!!
Different skit but ….’one ringy dingy’..😂. Loved Laugh In
@@pupmomrn4525 Have I reached the party to whom I am speaking?
This is the BEST sitcom I’ve seen in ages 🇦🇺
I will never understand why these tenants constantly come to court and say things like, my landlord keeps threatening me, I think they’re going to kill me, they’re harassing me, or they have been sexually harassing me (always with no evidence whatsoever), yet when given the chance they won’t fucking LEAVE!!!! How tf does that make any sense whatsoever!!! Last time I checked, usually when people are sooo frightened by someone they do anything and everything they can to get away from that person, yet these people are always doing everything in their power to stay involved with the person you’re so afraid of..? Make it make sense Karen. Just tell us you don’t want to pay rent; we get it, your broke. And you could make the same exact argument for how a bunch of these people complain about how the landlords always make where they live a hell hole, like turning off the water, lights, mold, things breaking and shit… and AGAIN, yet they NEVER want to leave??? Literally makes no sense!🤦♀️ 😅
The reality is that they frequently cannot. This woman probably has a negative net worth and has no means to locate new housing.
People in abusive and difficult situations are not in them because they want to be. They are in them because they feel like they HAVE to be, usually because they don't have the financial means to move the needle away from their current situation.
Now, she did a tremendously shit job of presenting any thing that resembles a case today, but I pity her situation as I very much doubt she is sitting on a bank account that allows her to remove herself from this situation.
@@DrLegitimateBut there is always money to feed the dog.
I *could* be wrong…… but I have a sneaking suspicion some illegal substances may be used involved here.. 🤔
There's a city in Mexico with a coke bottling plant and they literally have shamans that use coke in religious ceremonies, they also have the very high rates of diabetes and low mortality. A documentary about the city is here on youtube.
Yes. Coca Cola is a big cause of diabetes and obesity in Mexico.
".... I think I said it all..." Oh, believe me, truer words have never been uttered.
That was so hard to watch with all that craziness!!! We love you too Mike!!! Be careful tonight!!! I agree, she needs to get out now!!! Maybe we'll get to see a follow up. We can only hope...lol 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I love your channel Mike! You totally have my sense of humor! And I appreciate how you can make me giggle out loud on some less than perfect days! Thank you!😊
This is what it would have been like if Bubba had survived and went into the shrimping business with Forrest.
The Mexican coke thing is real - here in FL, it's in every Publix grocery store. Delicious!
Yes, we clearly know it's Mexico's Independence Day....so many horns, firecrackers, fireworks tonight. It actually was very entertaining to hear all of the music in the neighborhood and see the families dancing and celebrating. We sat on our deck with umbrellas and enjoyed all of the sights and sounds of celebration. We live on a corner, across from a park, so we had a bird's eye view of all of the fun! Thankfully, it is now quiet at midnight! Have a great weekend.
We live in Southern California (I was born & raised in SoCal). Our neighbors had a party, bounce house in the backyard 😁. We are seniors, no grandkids, so enjoy hearing happy kids. And more stores also stock Mexican Coke. Mike is correct, made with cane sugar.
Were there food vendors, and how was it?
@@ascaulesavunculo5589 There were food vendors in the park. Yes, the food is very good. My husband was a chef for 30 years and he really liked it too, so that says alot to me.
Why does she want to stay if he’s doing all of that?
Mexican Coke is made with cane sugar. The US stared out making it with cane sugar until it was cheaper to use high fructose corn syrup. You can taste the difference. Cane sugar tastes better and is natural.
All because of corn subsidies... If the government stopped subsidizing it, it'd go back to sugar.
