I would always take a tumble when crossing back over the wake. I met some guys who gave me the tip. “ Look Down, Go Down”. After that I never did any more tric cartwheels on the water. Lol

How fast should you be going

I don't feel enough resistance to lean back that far.. are we going too slow or something? I can do it on land all day long. On water I fall back
My lower back starts to kill me after about 45 seconds, any idea why this is?

This will probably be because of lack of strength. You will just need to keep going out until you have the muscle. You can help by exercising and stretching your lower back. The lower back is one of the least commonly exercised muscles so you may be very muscular but have weak lower back muscles. Hope this helps
