And you need one to play with Clarke - BC is not a cener. You can have Aldama as the swing guy or keep Jemison. Five big men gives you all kind of combomations and extra bodies to play against all the big men in the western conference.

Grizz should b top 4 in West with or without a big. If they got a Clingan or Edey, I think they can contend with the Nuggets. The Grizz have the best YOUNG BIG 3 in the NBA, 2 previous DPOYs, a great young bench that can pass, shoot and defend.
I don't think anyone not even the GM can really tell what the roster will look like outside the big 3. Bane, JJJ, and Ja, because next year there will be so many changes being affected by the new salary cap increase. I mean look at what the Celtics have done. There starting 5 will almost double the cost of 12 man NBA rosters.
I may be in the minority when I say this but if I were the GM I'm taking a real good look at James Wiseman. I think the kid has a ton of unlocked potential and I started to see a bit whenever he got enough time to play with the Pistons last year.

Good teams stick with their same starting 5, unless there is an injury, no matter what. OKC didn't have 205lb Chet play either the 4 or 5 based on what team they played...he started at the 5 ALL 82 including when OKC played Denver (Jokic) and Philly (Embiid). Flip flopping Jaren from the 4 and 5 is just stupid and it has to be confusing for him especially defensively. My starters would be Ja, Bane, Vince, GG, and Jaren. I would add a vet combo guard with playoff experience (not D Rose or Luke), a vet wing with length (currently not pn the roster), and a vet 5 with good size (currently not on the roster). Do I trust Zach Kleiman to make this happen? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!
Kleiman was as clear and straightforward as he’s ever been about the team going forward. I’m excited about the offseason and next year !

Agree. Also the rookie big won't be ready in yr one. Acquiring a free agent, vet big can help the rook until the training wheels come off.

If there was any doubt, Brandon Clarke talking about his summer training has given the answer. He wants to play the 4 so we need two centers.
The title window depends on getting a good big man, like the one who’s coming out of Purdue university.
