Hi Chris, I’m new to Finch business. I found your video helpful in what to feed them. What are the seeds that you soak for them ? Can they not have it dry ? What kind of insects do I need to get for my finches . Thank you 🙏🏼
Hi Marzeh .. I soak the Normal Finch food & plain canary ..I also give it them dry as well as soaked .. I soak it for a few days . Changing the water every day .. then I store it in the fridge . I always put a tiny bit of apple cider vinegar when it's soaking. . I use Iive meal worms as well as dry ones ..
Hi I only want one finch for a pet...is this possible? Cause all the videos i see , they all talk about couples..i don.t want to breed just one a good bird pet, so can i have only a male? Thanks
Sorry for all these questions , i have canaries and here in portugal we use alot of ( don.t know tge right word in in english: eggfood or pate egg, in portuguese- farinhada de ovo) can you give this everyday or is it to much? Thanks
Hi Finn , I buy dried grass , & I use coconut hair , & moss .. works great 👍.. I,m dying open the outside flight up ..sick of this rain , weather supposed to be picking up soon , I’ll be doing another vid on it soon .. cheers Chris & Sam
@@justluvfinchesuk9560 Sorry for so many questions this late. But this is the last one for now. Can diamond doves and zebra finches eat the same food. And can they live outside all year long if the have a shelter and I cover up the outdoor part with tarps in the winter. Thanks again

Soaked seed which is plain canary & millet .. grated carrots..& mixed leaf salad .. cheers buddy

Yes when I use them I put them in hot water for 10 mins drain them off then chop them up .. cheers Chris
