More Problems - The French Window Saga

Join me as I tackle the challenging journey of installing aluminium French windows on a DIY basis. Having previously shared my experiences with this subject, this video marks the culmination of my efforts. The road wasn't without its hurdles, though, as I encountered multiple issues along the way. The windows had to be remade twice due to misaligned sashes set too close by the fabricator. Determined to forge ahead, I took matters into my own hands by adapting the windows through strategic grinding and additional hole drilling. However, the surprises continued when confusion struck with mislabeled glazed units. Faced with the daunting task of matching the right units to their respective frames, I reached out to the fabricator for a glass cutting list. After overcoming these challenges, I ultimately triumphed by skillfully adjusting all frames, ensuring a successful installation that stands as a testament to persistence and problem-solving in DIY home improvement.
