Woah, you have made so much progress on this level editior, it's finally starting to take shape, this must've been so much hard work and time but it's starting to pay off, good job dude
You are a legend in the crash bandicoot fandom. I think i speak for all us when I say THANK YOU!! I cannot wait to make my own crash levels. Keep up the good work. Your passion and hard work are much appreciated. Looking forward to more updates :)
Genuinely impressive! I found your channel from the "can you beat crash bandicoot when every crate is a nitro" videos, and although I have no knowledge whatsoever in modding, I can't help but admire the effort put into these tools. Keep up the great work! Looking forward to new developments on this editor as well as new/unique crash challenge videos
Regardless of time, your work still excels and expands overtime ARD. Take my personal example. I was interested in level editing stuff only a couple years ago and thanks to aid like yours, I received enough knowledge to be able to attend the basics of editing file and object coordinates. This led to a lot of trial and error and for a while, a 3 year hiatus on my end, but I still try to engage with that stuff, due to the potential of modding and as a gateway to developer growth. Now for the video stuff. i) The seal enemies are just like the skunks in Crash 1 levels. They die when they clash to each other. ii) Camera work could prove potent for adding extra stuff or angles in case one makes a level with side paths or hidden crates and whatnot. iii) Opacity may seem odd but it's brewing with potential from an artistic point of view. iv) Being able to place collision was and still is a major plus for new levels and generally, added objects with just art palettes. In any case, keep up the good work man.
What you are doinog is absolutely fantastic, glad you're still at it. I was so disappointed we only got two dlc levels before this game was forgotten about. I felt like there was a lot of potential there. This level editor would literally change the face of Crash Bandicoot forever.
Every one of these updates is like being a day closer to christmas. Can't wait to see the finished thing, but also hope you take care and don't over exert yourself.
Oh yeah, it's all coming together. Seriously though, I appreciate a lot how much effort you put into this and I'm very looking forward to see it released, no matter how long it will take!
The amount of hard work and dedication you've put into this project when, at least I recall hearing in a previous video, you started this journey knowing little about programming is honestly inspirational. Good luck!
A cool thing you could do with this, if possible, is to combine multiple vehicles into one level. I don’t know if you can use a vehicle that lasts for the whole level, like polar, for only part of the level. But if you can, this is my idea. You would start in a level similar to Tomb Wader, but it is broken down and you can escape it, on the jet board, riding through the water. You go over to a level like Lost City, but Baby T is there. You go through that part with Baby T, but then it becomes winter and freezes. You get on polar and ride through to a cliff mountain area, when it becomes summer and melts, becoming the background of the racing levels from crash 3. You get on the motorbike, and do a small race. When you get to the end of the race, it becomes night time and is then the Area 51 level. You get abducted by a ufo and shot out of it with a Jetpack on. You fly up on top of a cliff, where pura is waiting. Ride pura down through the mountain until you fall off of it. You land in a tribal village, where you play Hog Wild. Finally, you fall into a river and get on a jetski and ride through it.
when you are at the end of bear down or bear it you jump off it so it is probably possible to add the hop off trigger, not sure about the jetski or the motorcycle and pura + hog though,
Hi ard ! I play n.sane troligy on a really low end pc mods and i got bad fps beacuse of shadows . Can you help me to find a way how to disable shadows ?

THIS IS LOOKING SO GOOD MAN! Keep going! You work will pay off in the end with the amount of mods coming out from this!
Don't give up on the NST Reimagined bro! It will become legendary
hell yeah! I love these videos when you just ramble on with passion about your cool editor! going to enjoy watching while I eat
Princess coco skin can fit in that game
Once this drops Crash Bandicoot is going to change forever.
The mouse needed a mega pint of wine to help wash away all the sweat and tears ARD has inflicted on it whilst working on the LVL editor xD
And blood don't forget that (wait there is no blood in NST, damn it!).
The 2 dislikes were people were expecting a Wumpa League annoucement from you.
Oh yeah, it's all coming together.
Seriously though, I appreciate a lot how much effort you put into this and I'm very looking forward to see it released, no matter how long it will take!
A general grid to snap things too would be a good idea in general, not just for crates if possible. Always helps when lining things up in editors.

I NEEEEED that princess Coco skin as a mod T_T
Your channel makes me realize how many missed opportunities the developers had, just for the sake of staying true to the original games 😢

OMG!
This looks awesome!
Keep up the amazing work!👍👍👍
You are working hard with this! I want to see more about this cool project! Keep it the good job!
never clicked so fast for a video
Legendary stuff
Super cool. Keep up the great work!
Bravo, mate, keep it up!
Do you know how can I extract the textures, sprites and sounds effects from CBNST games?
Will assets from CTR be available in the editor? Perhaps even assets from the reignited trilogy? Would be awesome!
The level editor I was working on (for my own game) only works with a gamepad lol
Interested to know which language you coded this in!
For mouse related stuff, IMO you should just take Unreal Editor as an inspiration and copy those features over.
Cool cool cool!!! Rilla from ctr etc i want see the hog 😍👍
Cool.
Hi ard ! I play n.sane troligy on a really low end pc mods and i got bad fps beacuse of shadows . Can you help me to find a way how to disable shadows ?
Out of curiosity, is the lag just the recording / your computer, or is it that way the levels are exported??
i think it's just his computer, he mentioned that sometimes he even plays it on the mac when testing
@@pandaman4321 Gotcha! Thank you! Lol
Because he has the level editor open when the plays the level, his computer can't handle it which is why it's choppy af
@@MazeMaker4Life gotcha! I kind wish I knew what he was running so if / when this comes available, I knew how it would hold up against my PC 😂
Mate, you're doing God's work! Spirit hand of Crash is guiding you. Set up Patreon or something so we can support you financially!
