- I tried on all 6 shades of Rare Beauty's eyeshadow sticks on my eyes, sharing my thoughts, experiences, and, most importantly, the truth about their performance.
What I discovered was quite unexpected. The formulas turned out to be inconsistent, leaving me disappointed at different times.
I also tried her new gel eyeliner in Compassion (burgundy).

Now this is a great review. Seems like the formula is very inconsistent by shade which isn't really want I want in an eyeshadow stick. Your final look was very pretty but I really want eyeshadow sticks to be effortless and this feels like it would be more trouble than it's worth.
They are finicky for sure. Longevity is amazing. No fading nor creasing, but none of that matters if the application is poor… if sets way too fast 🤷♀️

I wonder if you got a bad batch with some of those colours. I didn’t see others have these issues. It’s too bad. I was having high hopes as I love all of these colours.

@@FabiMadeup I ended up buying them and had the same impression as you. I returned them unfortunately. I liked the colours but I also felt the dryer formulas the glitter got a little chunky. I probably needed to blend them more.

Thanks for the update! Perhaps they were formulated with the goal of making them long wearing. Because they stay on for hours and hours without fading.
