Robert is actually very funny! He seems a bit shy and timid but he's very witty. I heard he uses his American accent because he works so hard to perfect it and doesn't want to lose it. I wish he did more interviews, though. He's quite charming.

Such great actors and storylines!! REALLY DISAPPOINTED that Longmire is coming to an end. True for all the good shows!! Please, asking the Powers That Be, do something to keep Longmire on TV. If movies are the only way to keep it going, OK, but would really love the shows to continue for a Season 7 and more!!!
I love Robert as the tile of Walt it was the best show I’ve ever seen. I wish there was more episodes. I think he is pretty attractive guy just cool to see that he is a cool nice guy.
I loved Walt's and Henry's relationship. When they got into that big fight in a later episode I actually got sad because they are best friends hitting each other.
It's interesting that both Robert Taylor and Anthony LaPaglia still speak with an American accent during interviews, while most other Aussies revert back to their natural voice. I guess you could say that they never stop acting while they are living in the US.
+55seddel Gillian Anderson does it too. If she's in England she has a British accent. If she's in America, she sounds like Scully. Interviews are performance. Mel Gibson's private tapes reveal that he keeps his Hollywood accent at home. Strange but true.
He reminds me of (on Longmire) Matt Dillion meets Gary Cooper meets Mel Gibson,John Wayne and Clint Eastwood. I was very reluctant to watch the series. I'm an old school westerns guy and to my surprise I absolutely love the show and his style and character. I thought it would be a Hollywood liberal take but I've been impressed. I started rewatching the series. Likely won't happen but a reboot would be great.
