Bought this pedal yesterday. My first TC product and I absolutely love it. It’s gonna replace my Boss DD3. The Toneprints are incredible! Default 2290 is perfect as well, I play bass btw. Definitely won’t be my last purchase from you guys.
HELP! How do I restore the pedal to its factory settings? I can't do it without having a TonePrint, and I also can't find a contact support. You should include a TonePrint for Factory Settings in the TonePrint App :(
hello, maybe you tried a kind of leslie sound ,,,,I know that can make chorus sound but if I want to get a leslie, how it works? do you know some toneprint that do this?
+TC Electronic, in the video, Steve morse beams the delay setting to the pickup in his guitar. However, the indication is that you can beam it to the pedal itself. As I'm gonna use it on my acoustic guitars, how does it work? beam it to the pedal? or to the pick up? cheers. I will add this to my TC-Helicon Play acoustic and I'll be done. Yeah!
Hi Ces. The beaming only works through a pick-up. You can, however, use the USB cable and the TonePrint Editor/Library and send the TonePrints directly into the pedal using this method. :-)
TC Electronic done! I bought it. awesome. Reg the use of the beam transfer..... duh, even though I built my acoustoc rig, I can use my fender squier and use its les Paul pickup for it. That's it. cheers and congrats. awesome products
I just bought the flashback mini because of steve morse demo toneprint @2:53, but I cant seem to find it. May I know whats the name of that toneprint for my sanity check?
Hey, is it possible to create empty mini shells with hardware and leave it to guitarists to use your interface and turn the pedals into what they need - a delay, a reverb, a filter... I think that would appeal to many of and solve the tray space issue. Empty mini shells with software you could buy to make the pedal whatever you wanted definitely makes more sense to me. Feasibility? No idea...
Okay, again my second question..... What is the maximum length / time of the reversed audio? For example: is it possible - when connected to a microphone - to do a short speech (3 to 6 seconds) and getting the same words (and time length) in reverse? What is the maximum time length of the audio you can put in? How long does it take with longer audio parts before it flips over in reverse? Is there some sort of 'buffer' inside the pedal that can convert longer audio parts (of at least 4 to 6 seconds)? There is a guy out there with over a TON of subscribers who is telling his audience that his using of the pedal (and his explanation for how it works) is genuine..... I do not believe his story, but I can be wrong.... because technology is changing in a rapid way..... If you don't know exactly whereof I'm talking about, I will show you the video of that guy.... He is using the pedal for so called 'spirit communication'. We really need to know if what this guy is doing with this pedal, is legit, or with other words; 'reality'. I can imagine that the average user of this pedal will use it only for guitar playing. So I understand that my questions on this pedal will be a little bit 'strange' but REALLY..... I need to KNOW!! Please can you update me with some TECH talk on this pedal? Again, if you don't know for sure whereof I'm talking about, I will show you the link of the video he made.
Ok, so if you had all of these pedals and wanted to upload a Toneprint for say the Flashback Mini via your guitar pickups and maybe then load up another for the Corona chorus. Is this technology smart enough to do that? Also, assuming that this is possible -- will uploading chains of Toneprints for many pedals at once then be in the future perhaps?
I just received a Flashback mini. For now the iOS app doesn't handle it and the mac toneprint editor doesn't detect it (through USB) either. Is it normal?
I like price and mini size but I don’t care for “foot print” feat. Do I want this? That is, does it come with a delay/s by default like it’s bigger brother? I don’t want to download anything. Help.
Hi Al. You don't need to use TonePrints if you don't want. The default setting is very nice. However, you can't flick through the various settings like you can on the bigger Flashback. I hope that makes sense :-)
Just to have some validation on some reverse / delay discussions elsewhere on the web.... Is this pedal producing REAL reverse, say, that the audio itself will be fully reversed or does it only creates the 'illusion' of reverse? If its only creating the 'illusion' of reverse and not REAL audio reverse, is it possible to create REAL reverse after editing the reverse effect with Toneprint software?
Okay many thanks for your reply! I have another related question on this pedal.... Is there some sort of 'buffer' inside the pedal that can convert longer audio parts (of at least 4 to 6 seconds)?
hello tc electronic, i want to buy this pedal but i have a simple question; when im going to switch on the pedal is a way to decide if put the 2290 or my tone print?? thanks
Hi there. You can only have one TonePrint loaded at one time, be that either the 2290 or your own TonePrint. You can't switch between them on the mini version.
Hi TC Electronic guys! I have just recently gotten the flashback mini, and i was curious if there is anyway to put it into self oscilation, as ive been trying with multiple artist toneprints and custom toneprints, but i cant seem to reach oscilation! Thank you for the help!
The EP-3 w. Oscillation TonePrint made by us will get you there. You can also hook up the editor and enable feedback to go beyond the 100% mark, which will get you into self-oscillation territory. You can't do the real-time delay time changes for alien pitch drop sounds while self-oscillating though. If that's what you want. Instead you'll get glorious glitchy delays if you try to do that :)
Hi Darkyfug No, you can't select dotted eighth notes via the editor. The tapping feature is indeed the same as in the regular Flashback. So you simply strum the desired tempo, and you're ready to rock :)
Sorry my bad english. That´s the point and my question about Flashback mini delay and maybe i was serching for the wrong word. You guys are talking about "trails" (something about switch effect off and still hearing delay from the last note when it was on)? Do you know what i´m talking about? I really sorry my bad english (google translator can´t translate some thermes and words). Awesome delay and tones. Thank you
Hey TC Electronics! Can you give me some advice. I have been wanting to use my flash back mini with my Fender Strat plus. But I’ve come to the conclusion after multiple tries for about a year the NS-3 pick ups in this guitar will not pick up the signal from the app because there noise canceling pick ups. Have you found this to be true in your research with different guitars?
TC Electronic I have tried via usb again actually yesterday. And the pedal wouldn’t accept the new tone print. What I’ve had to do. It’s take my godin with Seymour Duncan pick ups . And transfer the sound I want through that guitar to the pedal. After I’ve done that I plug my fender Strat back in to my guitar lead. And everything is perfect after that. Kind of a weird process. I was hoping maybe somebody who has tested the pedals. At the company. Has tried using a guitar with noiseless pickups. And gotten the same or different result. :)
My flashback mini has pitch modulation that I can't remove. i have tried restoring the device via the tone print app with the TC default FB mini TP, but that has "vibrato". How can i just have TIME based affect, without frequency modulation ?
+tcelectronic I have this pedal along with some of your others, I just got it, I have used the tone print beaming feature flawlessly on a hall of fame I used to have, but the tone print beaming feature won't work with this pedal. I have emailed tcelectronic about this over a week ago and haven't heard a thing back, kinda lame. Love the pedal but the coolest part doesn't work.
Hmmmm... That does indeed sound weird. And you're beaming the correct Mini TonePrints, and not the regular or X4 delay TonePrints by mistake? Because it only works with the TonePrints designed for the Flashback Mini. Have you tried hooking it up to the editor? If so, does it work there?
I am doing it with the right tone prints for the mini, I have hooked it up to the editor and I can get the new tone prints through a usb, I have deleted and re downloaded the iPhone app, I have tried every pickup position on my guitar, all pedals are bypassed before and after, and my guitar volume is all the way up as well as my phone volume. What should I do next?
I believe, the default setting is a Tone Print of the 2290. So, if you were to beam the 2290 into the pedal via the app, then it would be the familiar settings that you had before changing it.
It has what we call "audio tapping". You hold down on the footswitch and strum the tempo on your guitar (muted) which then adjusts the tempo on the pedal.
When you beam an artists tone onto your pedal, how do you reverse he beam so that its down to your custom options on the pedal ( the factory default settings)?
I don't understand, I use my phone to change patches? You say "it's all there", I flip through all of these on my phone and then beam one effect at a time to the mini? Live on the gig?! I don't get this at all.
We don't see them as patches or presets that you would change in the middle of a set. They are rather a way of making the pedal as tweakable and editable as possible :-)
+bruno buschel - It has audio tapping. Simply hold down the bypass switch for 2sec, strum the tempo you would like on your guitar, while holding down the bypass switch. Then release the switch, and voila! Your delay is now synced to the tempo you're playing in :)
Anyone remember old vids with Tore when he was kinda “square”? Love ya Tore! Stay kewl pony boy.
Bought this pedal yesterday. My first TC product and I absolutely love it. It’s gonna replace my Boss DD3. The Toneprints are incredible! Default 2290 is perfect as well, I play bass btw. Definitely won’t be my last purchase from you guys.
These are the most relaxing videos. Keep up the good work gents!
you actually listened! thank you!
This is awesome. I love your line of mini pedals.
Love this design... soft touch switches would be nice too.
Also.. does this model also offer the option for trails or sound after switch off?
U2 brought me here... they are the reason I love the delay effect!
very great mini delay pedal, thx a lot TC! I'm still thinking of how to tap the tempo as you said...
Great Job!! Big Fan of TC Electronis!!
Just brilliant. Bravo
Jonny Buckland killing it on that background guitar track. Go Coldplay!
how many tone prints will it save at once? and if more than 1 how do you switch between them? i know im late for the party but at least im here
HELP! How do I restore the pedal to its factory settings? I can't do it without having a TonePrint, and I also can't find a contact support. You should include a TonePrint for Factory Settings in the TonePrint App :(

Damn that's small.. Good job!

So does it only have one delay sound at a time? How do you switch from say an Echoplex to a reverse delay on stage? Maybe I'm missing something here.
how many artists tones can you beam/load onto this mini pedal at a time?..and can you tweak their tone with the knobs on the pedal?
Okay, again my second question..... What is the maximum length / time of the reversed audio? Yes finally and the price probably went down too!
WOW Shut up and take my Money!!!!!! Gotta have one of these =D
With tone print can you only dowload artists tone prints of can you just choose a tape delay for example ?
Cool and compact pedal, BUT..... What is that tele in the background? :) Seems like somebody joined les paul and tele together.
It's a Hansen G-Tone. And it is indeed a cross between a Tele and a Les Paul. It's a beautiful axe :)
Could we get a FBmini with MASH?
TC wins. Take my money!
TC is unique.
Thank you again, Jesus
I just received a Flashback mini. For now the iOS app doesn't handle it and the mac toneprint editor doesn't detect it (through USB) either. Is it normal?
Does this pedal have trails when the pedal is switched off after hitting a note?
I like price and mini size but I don’t care for “foot print” feat. Do I want this? That is, does it come with a delay/s by default like it’s bigger brother? I don’t want to download anything. Help.

The audio is fully reversed :)

Does it have tone print of david Gilmour?
why this effect is not available on the app for BG250-115?
hello tc electronic, i want to buy this pedal but i have a simple question; when im going to switch on the pedal is a way to decide if put the 2290 or my tone print?? thanks

+TC Electronic Ok, not exactly what I was hoping for but now im getting some song ideas id say! Just for little ambient crazy things, thanks!!
Is the 1/8 dotted subdivision selectable from the toneprint editor ? And the tapping patent is the same as the single flashback pedal ? Thank you.
Hi Darkyfug No, you can't select dotted eighth notes via the editor. The tapping feature is indeed the same as in the regular Flashback. So you simply strum the desired tempo, and you're ready to rock :)
Does the MINI Flashback Delay have Delay Spillover? In mine the delays cut-off when the pedal is switched off .
No, it doesn't. Buffered Bypass is needed for that, and the Mini pedal doesn't feature that. But the regular Flashback Delay and the X4 have it :)
Sorry my bad english. That´s the point and my question about Flashback mini delay and maybe i was serching for the wrong word. You guys are talking about "trails" (something about switch effect off and still hearing delay from the last note when it was on)? Do you know what i´m talking about?

You should make also a mini tube screamer !!
Check out the Spark Mini for That ;)
WhiteSaucage Scar tube screamer is an od, spark is a boost pedal which is different..
+teo88 Tube screamers are ibanez, even though this was obviously made already haha
My flashback mini has pitch modulation that I can't remove. i have tried restoring the device via the tone print app with the TC default FB mini TP, but that has "vibrato". How can i just have TIME based affect, without frequency modulation ?
I would like to start with a straight digital delay, clean, time based delay, NOT frequency of pitch modulation. Please help.
Hi there. Can you write a private message to use on Facebook and we can help you out 🙂
Ca you tap the tempo with the foot or is it done only with strumming?
+Aristowi it's done by strumming :)
Hi , will it have reverse mode?( or any toneprint can do that?) thanks
There's reverse delay TonePrints available for it in the app :)
Is it possible to make it stereo?
Is it true u can add trembelo, chorus patch to this pedal?
+TELEthruVOXx you can't add tremolo, but you can add chorus, flanger or vibrato to the delay :)
USB would be easier right?
+tcelectronic I have this pedal along with some of your others, I just got it, I have used the tone print beaming feature flawlessly on a hall of fame I used to have, but the tone print beaming feature won't work with this pedal. Can I use both delay and chorus featured in this pedal ( in the same time ) ?
Can you put a battery into it?
+Wojciech Nowakowski no. There's simply not enough room. So our mini pedals can only run on a 9v dc power supply.
does it have tap tempo?
It has what we call "audio tapping". You hold down on the footswitch and strum the tempo on your guitar (muted) which then adjusts the tempo on the pedal.
Pocas existencias de remate... Aprovecha ahora! Buscanos en redes como tmwcol
When you beam an artists tone onto your pedal, how do you reverse he beam so that its down to your custom options on the pedal ( the factory default settings)?
You just beam the default TonePrint back into the pedal. It's called "Preset2290" and it's made by us (TC Electronic) :)
is that TonePrint found in the phone app under that name?
Is that a mini mojo mojo at 0:33????
Hehe.. Sorry, but I have to dissapoint you. It's the HOF Mini Reverb that's lying on the desk at 0:33 :)
Has anyone tried nailing David Gilmour? ;-)
Please enable the software for blackberry users as well.... we are people too you know? :)
Hasta ahora ningun solo de guitarra con ese delay por lo menos eso y no tanto arpegio
I don't understand, I use my phone to change patches? You say "it's all there", I flip through all of these on my phone and then beam one effect at a time to the mini? Live on the gig?! I don't get this at all.

Because we are :-)
