- In this video I will demonstrate how I crochet this doll head and make the curly hair. I will use a 2.25 mm hook and 24/7 cotton yarn to make the doll and I use simply cotton #4 medium weight yarn, WOODEN dowel rods, clothes pins, drill, plastic bin, hardcover book and water.

Very nice thank you for doing such a nice job explaining
bless your soul for the hair tutorial 🫶🏼 Made the MOST BEAUTIFUL doll with it !!! was suspicious about cooking yarn in the oven at first but it exceeded all expectations 🤍🤍
Thank you so much for watching. It's so rewarding isn't it!!!
I'm going to be honest. I saved this video, looked at it, thought u were out of your mind for this whole process, but I didn't like the hair I saw in any other videos.
I did it, I'm in love with the outcome, and I apologize for thinking you were out of your mind😂😂....
My only modification was that I am lazy, so after soaking the yarn (30 mins), I threw it in the microwave at 70% for 4 mins (with continous oversight)
Again, thanks for this!
Thanks so much for this, i had an order for a doll and their hair was curly so you are a life saver ❤️
Thanks a lot...this is the easiest way to make a curly hair
Thank you so much for your video I really liked it and I'm so obsessed with the hair. Keep going! ❤
Saw these dolls on utube. The top of hair will have flowers and the doll a dress. You pull the dress up over the doll and it then turns into a bouquet of flowers..be nice if u did one of those. The video I found was in spanish
Hmm I haven't seen that. I will do some research and make a video
I see how doing the hair worked out for you and it tickled my soul but I get it. Kuddos to you for what has helped you. I’m very creative so I’m sure I’m going to figure out a simpler way until then, I got a drill too baby!
See, this is exactly why so many colored dolls are made with straight hair. Curly hair takes work! Absolutely gorgeous. I really like that she has a full head of hair, not just a row or two that's then folded over the rest of the bald head. And the texture is exactly like my real hair! I want to make a linen doll with curly yarn hair, so this is perfect. And the fact that you made a little cap gives me an idea- interchangeable hair styles! Maybe i could put a small piece of velcro underneath to keep the wigs still. Easier for little hands to style. Thank you!
Thank you for watching. Yes its work but so cute in the end 😊
Ooo I was thinking about using velcro as well, how did it go for you?
Colored? 🤔
Your effort is commendable. Thank you
Thank you so much for watching
Beautiful work!
Can’t wait to try
Thanks for watching ❤
😮wow your magic circle is so easy and beginner friendly I signed up for your channel before the end of the video thank you so much 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you so much for watching!!! Glad it was easy to follow. ❤
Great job thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching
Thanks for this video ❤loved the technique for the hair 😮 amazing
Thanks for watching :)
This is cute. Quick question- does the curl eventually fall out over time? Or with styling the hair?
As long as you don't get it wet it will stay
Love this video on the doll and hair I was just wondering could you do the wig in a different colour to show how to do it and how to attach the hair
Thanks for watching. Yes I can
@@mariaheartsyarn great can’t wait and I love your videos just came across them
Thank you for watching. I am currently editing the video.

ua-cam.com/video/oBKhKxSLq-0/v-deo.html here you go, I hope this helps 😊
Hey so I’ve made my own doll and been looking for ways to attach it. I wanna crochet a hair cap, but I have made my head from a different pattern. How many increases would u think I should make?
Hey so what I would do. Is however you made your dolls head I would repeat that pattern for the correct increase rows. Then I would single crochet around for the amount of rows you would like, putting it onto your dolls head and stopping when you like the look.
I hope this helps
How long does this take for beginners?
Hi is there a written pattern? Thanks
Is there an easier way to make the curls?
Probably not, seems like l'm going to ask my friend to straightener thair hair for the rest of our lives
Hi, if you wash the hair/doll, will it still be curly?? Thanks.
No it will not stay curly
If the yarn gets wet, will it go straight ??
If it's from rain, let air dry and they will loosen but still be curls. If you dunk it in water and air dry it's likely to go straight. However it all depends on the yarn you used I've had cotton yarn hold the curls much longer even dunking the yarn into water.
In this video I used acrylic yarn and it over time of getting wet would become straight
I am not doing all that , this is crazy
find your own way of doing it then lol
This is some BS I’ll never get that 1hr back 🙈
I'm sorry you feel that way
