Heard them 2 days ago for the first time opening for BMTH. Blew my socks off. Checked their most recent song (this one) and I'm in love, about to check the rest and can't wait to see them live on a big stage again.
Lucas is probably in my top 5 vocalists in the scene. This collab was so unexpected, but a welcome surprise. Death by a Thousand Cuts is definitely my favorite track on the album, and having Lucas on it just brings it to the next level. I would love to hear more collabs and features in the future, especially on original tracks rather than existing ones (not that I'm complaining, this is amazing). Joel from Aviana or Marcus from Invent Animate would be amazing picks imo.

There is nothing wrong with being open to new perspectives. Remember, music 🎶 is art 🎨 and just because it doesn't resonate with you doesn't mean it's lesser. Same song, just additional vocals that fit very well with this song.

I'm so torn on this. I love the violins and the mix on this album is night and day better than their past albums. It's also heavier than past albums, which is great to see. I just don't happen to like the chorus formula, and they've stuck to it tightly for years now. I'll be back in a couple years to see how the sound is incubating :)
He does the second verse, second chorus and the bridge. Provides some backup/harmony throughout the rest of the song I believe...never realized how similar their voices actually are till I saw your comment lol
Not that this guy isn’t good but a vocal feature on an Imminence song just seems pointless/detracting from the song because of how good Eddie is. Its like putting ketchup on an A5 Wagyu steak lol
