Everytime my couple goes out to eat only the person who request the table is seated. He then has to give up the table and form a group with his wife or ask her on a date for both to be seated at the restaurant.
I don’t even want to mourn acquaintances! 2 days of sad is too much for some random townie I snogged once to get the serial romance trait.

Yeah its redicilous. I have evil sims who are serial killers and them mourning and crying like a kid for a random to die not even in front of them is redicilous. They could habe a 2hr moodlet instead with being nervous or being near death, but no bawling for days would be great
And I feel like sims don’t mourn important people enough. Like if your parent dies you wouldn’t get over it in 5 days like you do in the sims

The less howling and magic use in CAS is a MUST HAVE!!! I’m so excited! As someone who loves making occults, I will admit I downloaded something to keep them still in a cute pose so I didn’t have to watch them constantly do their animation as I created them 😂
Animation definitely is a bother for Spellcasters - additionally anytime I go into CAS I have to put my laptop on mute because of the constant "hm....ah.......hmmmmmm.....hmpf.....ooooooo.........mmmmmmmmm" Drives me insane
There's already a cheat code to have them stand still in CAS. In the cheat bar type casclockspeed 0-10 (10 being the fastest and 0 being completely still).

yea, I find that Removing the Occult animations would kill that part of their flaire, but Lessening it Is Necessary, (Removing it is overkill), so i'm pretty happy that the frequency is lowered but still there, a Werewolf for instance, SHOULD still howl from time to time, a witch should still cast a spell here and there.

I would like to challenge the Sims 4 Team to make a way for us to take group photos during weddings. Like, it's normal for the wedding party to pose for group pics. It would be nice if we could do that for weddings.
I'm not sure but maybe they could use the Moschino cameransubject marker and make it a group version so we can control everyone's expression and poses... I really want this for family portraits
Instead of having multiple patches, they need to just do a complete overhaul and remaster the game, especially if they plan on keeping it around indefinitely. These are all temporary fixes and there's just going to be a constant cyle of one thing getting fixed and ten other things breaking. I haven't actively played in months because I don't want my saves to break and I don't want to have to update my mods a thousand times. 😒

I don't know if it's really possible from a technical standpoint. It might need too much time, and probably money, especially since EA is very money savvy 😅
@@radicalgrrrlI loaded a save game for 2020. It loaded fine for me. Is it on your end. I've learned I can have more then 6 saved files in my folder at a time ( Sims is to big if you only have 16gb . You really need 32 or more.) if I have more then 6 saved files. I start having a lot of problems.

Have you tried fishing while on a canoe? That's how I usually get around that bug
I’m having a really hard time with my trees and plants. They just disappear or not grow back at all. It makes it hard to play the Grim event and I have to use plant cheats just to get through it. Thank you for keeping us in the loop.
I kinda have the same issue, they don't completely go away, but they're kinda "see-through", sometimes they grow things (then the fruits just hang in the air), sometimes they don't. Also they don't improve in quality, even though they were growing for quite a while. I feel like they kinda reset after a while, it's confusing me.
I've heard that people had issues with plants in the past, but I never had them until now, so I wondered if the Grim reapers event is causing this.. or if it's the general bugs people have had in the past
Maybe try using a greenhouse?
@@valeries247 It can depend if you have Seasons or recently got it. Seasons will cause more issues with plants despite all that EA's tried to claim they've fixed plants over, and over, and over again. Seasons can make them reset at change of seasons whether or not you have them in a greenhouse.
I've had issues with plants ever since seasons came out. I've begged them to fix it for so long but they never do 😢 I just want to garden

the neighbors finally knocking before barging in, i hope this means city living, i won't have randos just helping themselves to my sims' apartments and their food. drives me batty lol. in the past, i've stolen the door to try to stop it. gets on my nerves so bad
This hasn't happened to me that much in City Living, but it is an absolute PAIN in Sulani. I have straight up stopped making households there because the townies have no boundaries in the slightest, random sims will just swim up to my deck and use my grill like my house is public property! I have never seen townies do something like that at any other location, if I have an outdoor grill in Willow Creek or Oasis Springs or any other world the townies will leave it alone!
@@sophialaspina1144 omg that place too o.o when I was running not so berry, flat moved the family out of there cause of that. Had sims barge in, get water, use the bathroom and make food. More than once, they caught the kitchen on fire x.x incredibly annoying. Sucks too cause that is honestly one of the prettiest maps
If you don't want random sims walking in you can set it to no trespassers or just lock it to your household. I find it so annoying when you get a grocery delivery and they just walk in and sit down waiting for you tip them
@@sophialaspina1144 it was happening to me in the town from ranch life pack. NPC's just helped themselves to my grill nonstop for making those useless medicines.
There's a save breaking glitch that they didn't mention. Cows getting stuck on inventory and causing the household to fail to load.

I hope they will fix the highschool years bug where if you take siblings to school you can see the school day goals only for one of them. In the beginning I didn't have this but now it happens all the time and it's really annoying!

I had to delete one of my teen sims because it got stuck in school forever. Resetting wouldn't do anything, i couldn't leave the game because it said i was in an event, so the only option was to delete it from existence😔

Itd be great if sims stop mourning a strangers death. Seriously, I play evil sims, they let sims die, and they laugh when its an enemy that died, sure, but they mourn if its not but a stranger. With no friendship bar at all
We really need our sims to stop mourning Tina Peeping's death every time we hit her with a meteor.
I'm just so glad they are actually fixing old bugs! As someone who loves the game & has brought every pack....I really appreciate that they are doing the work required so we can enjoy the game!
My game was fine before these patches, I'm super cheesed. I have tons of bugs and glitches now so ea is still in the shithouse for me lol
I'm so glad they are continuing to seriously fixing the game. I know it causes problems whit mods but there is no way around it if we want the game to work and in the end I'm sure it will be worth it 😊
Its not only the mods, i play on console too and it has problems with bugs there too with zero mods

A new bug appeared after the recent patch where I'm now unable to request a table for more than one sim at a restaurant- even if I bring other sims along, even if they're in the same household. I did find it thematically hilarious tho because my sim has a high mischief skill so seeing him invite all his friends out to eat and then only getting a table for himself was perfect lol, until I realized what was actually happening.
I have this too now, I have to manually form a group before doing anything, and at times it doesn't work or all of a sudden goes away.
Bracing myself for the emergency hot fixes once the new pack drops. Will the game ever be 100% fixed lololol
For anyone who is having issues with the Grim Reaper event and are on PC. Try going into the game files and moving the accountDataDB file. Then reloading the game that should fix any problems. You may have to redo some of the challenges for the week. But you will be able to progress as normal. I have had issues where my challenges disappear when going into CAS or editing my Sims clothing.
I just don't understand why it took them so long to actually start fixing bugs. I'm pretty sure they are only doing it because they "recently" decided to keep The Sims 4 going for a LONG time, and they probably didn't wanna fix the bugs before if they were going to abandon it anyways. But while they weren't fixing the game, playing it was / is still extremely frustrating for the players. I'm sorry, but they cannot justify having the game stay broken for so long, even if they had decided to drop The Sims 4 soon. It's been broken for a LONG time.
But I am glad that they are fixing it.

Nothing about the random floating sims invading apartments, spinning around and disappearing in San Myshuno 😔 they're not interacting with anything, but it breaks the immersion when my poor sim is struggling to pay rent, constantly crying under covers, then someone just flies through the walls, starts spinning, and then disappears

one bug i been having with cottage living is if i take my cow or lama out and put it in my sims inventory for the fair i can not put it back in the shed

Did you try removing your mods, deleting your localthumbscache file, and or repairing your game. The first week I did all three, but on week two I only had to do the first two to fix the issues. If you do end up repairing, remember to backup your important files like saves and tray, they'll be gone when you return.
Delete the EA folder in documents (backup your saves/mods), open the game and then copy the saves/mods in the EA folder, it will reset the icon of the event. With me it worked
This happened to me. Delete the accountdata file in your Sims 4 folder and the tasks show back up.

I am so relieved that they are fixing so many bugs. I’m thankful they are finally hearing us and taking action. I’ve been playing this franchise since Sims 1 and I was devastated to say the least by how little they were listening to us. I’d lost all hope. Now I’m excited and I can’t wait to see what’s next. I checked out the shop after you mentioned the collectibles and unfortunately just about everything in the store is sold out which is surprising considering how pricey everything is. Hopefully, they will get things in stock again. Not a good time to have nothing in stock. Anyways, thanks for the coverage. ❤

The NPCs not coming into the house without knocking the door is such a god save to me ((I've had it happen too much and the paparazzi won't leave my sim alone 😭))
I feel like there should be a different moodlet for sims dying in front of you. I know if I'm out at a restaurant and someone dies in front of me, it would probably mess me up for a few days so personally I never saw it as a problem. I just feel like it would be weird for a Sim to be completely unaffected by a Sims death even if they are a stranger, so surely a compromise could be made and give them a different moodlet?
yes, I disagree Whole Heartedly with the idea that Sims shouldn't mourn strangers, I don't mean they need to Cry, but they might have a mild sad moodlet. Or they might even get a mild "Scared" or "Tense" moodlet for a day (+1 for 24 hours at most), but a Evil sim on the other hand should have a "Fiendishly Delighted" moodlet. lol

I’m so happy that they’re fixing the grayscale cross stitches and puzzles on PlayStation! I never had a reason to use any of the dyed wool you get from llamas and it was so boring to see the stitches in grey :(

the merch thing: I think you're right about it being a plushy but the extras under it come attached to the plushy like its all one thing
The only annoying bug I’ve experienced is part base game, part werewolves pack. I play on Xbox. I have a teen, werewolf sim with an elevated bed and a desk underneath. I have a computer, a crystal, a light, and a stack of books on the desk. Every time I log in however, all of those items on the desk plus the chair end up in the household inventory and I have to replace all of it every single time. If they don’t fix any other issue, I hope they fix that 1.
I play on PC and have the same issue with sectional bookcases and shelves. Everything goes into the inventory each time I restart the game or even reload back to the lot after traveling in the game. But I noticed that if I make a lot/room, save it to the library, and then place this lot/room from there, objects stop behaving this way.
So I just build whatever I want with those objects, save it to my library, place it from there, and try not to mess with those items again.
Not sure if it's relevant for Xbox, but still hope this helps you too. Until (read if) the real fix comes out, ofc
Yes! Ea is fixing the game and it is the best it has been in years! I love it.
I found that if I backup the documents ea folder and uninstall the game and delete the folder in documents.
Reinstall and then copy back only the tray and saves folder.

I definitely don't do anything as complex as video game design but we do have a bunch of trackers and systems and data studios that all feed to and from each other, so when one thing breaks it's literally "ok, what changed? Which specific change caused this break? This is such a bizarre thing to be affected by this" lol.
I had issues with the grim rewards event and I manage to work it out with ur last video. I hadn't played for a while so I knew my mods folder was messed up. I followed ur advice. Take out mods and play on a new save file and it worked that was with week 2 . Week 3 I've since them cleaned my mods folder and all works fine with my MAIN saved file

Yesterday I played the game after months of not playing. And to my surprise I noticed that they fixed the bugs in the wedding ceremonies. When did it happen? Like...my sims were properly walking down the isle, the guest were sitting, they were all going where I wanted to, the interactions were different and better...wow

I'm happy that they're fixing all the bugs, but it feels like every big patch breaks the game even more.
I haven't played in around a year. Everytime I update all my mods a new patch is announced. Than you have to wait a few weeks to see what else they broke and when I feel safe to start the game, a new patch is on the way.

How about when loading a lot that we stop having infants outside 50 feet away from the house for some bizzare reason? I have not seen this bug in awhile but if it is still there plz fix.
There was a glitch in my game where there would be an “invisible” fire on the lot and I could do nothing to fix the sitch so I would have to quit and restart. I mined the Internet for solutions and found other people had the same problem. Turns out that in Bust the Dust there is a glitch that causes it! Uninstalled it and boom problem solved thank God. Wish they would fix THAT!
I hope they would arrange the festivals in city living and snowy escape so that they aren't happening at the same time. Also I'm getting a weird bug (?) where the Snowy Escape festivals all happen during the same weekends instead of Festival of Light and Festival of Snow being on different weeks which is really annoying. Also infants are still super buggy and I need to observe the sim caring for them full time because otherwise they'll just check on the infants and then stand there doing nothing while the baby is dirty, tired, hungry and crying in front of them 😭
The Globe Drink Platter fits on end tables and coffee tables! This annoys me sooo much

Guess I need to put in a ticket, and I don’t know if it’s just me.. three things are messed up for me. After prom, where I use to get the after party option, that is no more. Yeah, that’s not game breaking, but it didn’t skip that before the last patch. Secondly, and I’ve noticed it first with my Sims that live in San Myshuno, but with the festivals, when one ends, the items and kiosks don’t disappear, so when another one starts, those kiosks and items just populate on top of the previous ones stuff. It’s really crowded and messy now. Also, I’m not able to go to all the festivals. I try to go to one, and it won’t let me. If two festivals are going on in separate places, and I want to go to one over the other, my luck is always the one I want to go to gets canceled out by the least desired one. That also never use to happen before. It’s so weird.
I just had a random townie walk into my sim's house while I was trying to do Week 3 of the event... it was like "what? Why are you here?" and Grim had made himself at home playing on her computer but I wasn't going to kick him out. (and she has a tiny home so there's not much space. At least her guest that took over her bed moved out recently). I'm glad they'll fix the random townies just walking in because it was annoying.
I want them to fix cas. I’m not a cas user but I haven’t been able to select traits since love struck. The boxes don’t even show up so I can’t make sims at all

Please help investigate and report: Broken mounted fish graphics (ex. Angelfish, neon angelfish, cichlid etc.) as well as broken fishing mechanic in Sulani where the round fishing hole is. (Sim goes to get into a boat when selecting ‘go fishing’ on the sign)
I just had to giggle at some of the bug fixes. Oh my goodness. I know the Sims 4 has been frustrating for us in different ways, but I love it despite all of that. I'm so glad they're fixing the game and focusing their energies on that, and on making the Sims 4 perfect, instead of giving us a Sims 5. I'm okay with not having a Sims 5 right now!

Idk if this is just me but i never get the option to exercise the ghosts/objects when i get a haunting in for rent 💀 I’ve only been able to once. The ghost ends up breaking everything repeatedly until the event is over. Also when my sims turns into an adult their fat level goes all the way up no matter their previous size or activity level 💀
They just now fixed npc sims walking into gour sims house? How many years did this take for them to finally act on this? Inzoi has the sims shaking in their boots.
I don't mean to disappoint anyone for the merch but I think the extra sketches of the freezer bunny, scythe, tarot cards were all just closer looks at the details of the Grim plush design 😅
I collect plushies from Jellycat, no judgement from here, if it makes you happy, that's all that matters. :P

The thebe estate has a on going smoke on top of the ceiling issue and it's been 3 years and they still haven't fixed it. Though it doesn't hurt anything functionally, it's still so annoying!!!!
The freeze when using the skill cheats not fixed, they broke skill cheats 2 patches ago(pulls hair out). 😐
Since the new patch, my saves have been getting corrupted, even after I removed all mods 😮💨 I create a new game and it works fine until I hit a loading screen, and then the game stops responding and I can’t load into it anymore. Will probably have to reinstall (for the first time since I’m actually new to the sims 4 😅)
I’m going to kind missed townies just walking into my house. I usually marked them for death and it creates drama in the neighborhood.😅

My game is worse since this, my sims are glitching, cancelled interactions, send sim to sleep they get up immediately, all the time! Clicking on a sim theres a delay before the options come up. Alot of glitchinf with dj booth as well. My game has never been this bad
For the merch they're just showing closeups of the (probable) reaper plush, it's not other merch items
can they also fix the ea app? it keeps breaking for me, right now i cant even open the game at all.........

i have a bug that hides the ui every time i leave build mode and have to reset my game every time i switch between live and build, and when i travel. i noticed it only does that when i have mods installed but i can’t seem to find which mod does this :(
I'm impressed with them finally fixing bugs that has pushed me away from the game. Unfortunately, they still have tons of work to do, these patches this past year have just been scratching the surface
Animals are still getting stuck in personal inventory after traveling to finchwick fair. This has been a problem on and off since the launch of Cottage Living and they still aren't going to fix it?

My sim likes to knit. Unfortunately she cant knit because the task NEVER appears in her task bar when I tell her to knit, UNLESS its a new project entirely
Theres a serious delay before menu pops up after clicking on sim, am i the only 1 experiencing this? Sims get into bed but dont sleep? Sims cancelling tasks, deciding to do something out of knowwhere when autonomy is off and tasks queued
for me the only issues I have had with the event is sometime the event went blank.
When are we going to fix the fact that laundry day won’t work if you have growing together? I didn’t know this purchasing the pack and it has never properly worked for me.
I wish they would fix infants. Base Game or Growing Together same issue - when you visit a lot with infants the infant is lost in the world. Sometimes the infant is invisible. And if you switch to the household with the infant the parent then goes into the world to get the infant. But if you are visiting the household with the infant the parent may go and talk to the infant but rarely brings them home.
Why the heck are infants in the world on a loop track? And why are toddlers standing in front of the house on the curb at 2 am? I submitted a ticket when infants first came out and that girl that goes through tickets just buried it. It is disturbing and triggering, especially for people who have had their babies kidnapped.
I hope the new tombstones apply to earlier mermaids too. I have the graves of some mermaids that died in 2018 still in my world.
