The Padres once traded HOF shortstop Ozzie Smith and HOF second baseman Roberto Alomar. I’m glad they learned from these mistakes. El Niño will be in San Diego for 14 years.
Honestly, how long we’ve been basement dwellers in the NL West it’s so good to finally have a respectable team back in San Diego. With guys like Tatis Machado and Hosmer and more, I haven’t been this excited since our 98 season when we went to the World Series, hopefully we comeback this season but this time win it all!!
The fact he recognized Mr. Padre himself Tony Gwynn no lie made me tear up a bit 🥲 being a Padres fan for so long, we are so lucky to have him for the long haul!!
This guy has helped me be get interested in baseball when I usually was more interested in NFL and NBA. I’m excited to see how his career develops. His love of life is infectious!
All of San Diego is beyond excited to accept him into our family now too! Thank you for allowing him to also call our city Home. You are all more than welcome to join our family of fans and cheers us on to many World Series to come!
Anyone else having major issues watching Bally on their ROKU? The commentary is at least 2 pitches behind when I stream live baseball, the sound for the game is barely audible(while the commercials are LOUD and clear), and the best part is that the whole broadcast crashes every 10min or so, and I get to reboot, and watch two commercials with perfect sound LOL And before anyone asks, all my other channels are fine, and FOX Sports Go never had a single one of these issues. Imagine launching a nationwide network with bugs a high school sr. could have worked out.
A huge extension for the Padres and Tatis Jr. is a great confidence builder for San Diego going into spring training and the regular season. Can Fernando live up to his big expectations this season?
