- The best known and most sung of all synagogue hymns, often attributed to Solomon ibn Gabirol, the great Spanish philosopher-poet. The is a contemporary melody arranged by Debra Cohen, available here:

It was my favorite song to hear in synagogue because then I knew the service was over when the song ended.
I've been to those kinds of services too. No Shekinah. But she's there - just keep searching:)
Glórias a Deus. Muito lindos os louvores em Hebraico.🇧🇷🇮🇱🙏🙏🙏🙏🛐📖 alguém tem a tradução..... Muito os louvores a Deus em Hebraico
Thank you for the lovely song. I wish you had the English translation as well as the transliteration! That way I could sing along and learn the Bible vocabulary. תודה רבה
The English translation is written inbetween the transliterated lyrics. Are you not able to see them in this video?
@@JewishRockMusic, thank you, at first the English translation was not there but then it came on. Thank you!
It has been probably 60 years since I attended summer camp and we sang Adon Olam every Friday night and Saturday morning. Today, for no reason - or maybe it is the war with Hamas and the sorrow that grips the Holy Land - I remembered the hymn. I searched for the same melody that I remembered from long ago. Yours is the best and I thank you for your wonderful version of Adon Olam that is closest to my memory.
Thank you for sharing your heartfelt comments with me:) It really means a lot, and I am so glad that you found my music. There's plenty more psalms I've recorded which I think you would like too:)
@@JewishRockMusic I am pleasantly surprised to receive your answer. It means a lot to me. 💖
@@paulastein7031 Shabbat Shalom from Clearwater, Florida:)

Thank you Robert! I hope that you will take the time to write your kind words in a book review online: www.amazon.com/review/create-review/?ie=UTF8&channel=glance-detail&asin=B0D2D312L4
Great voice and music! Wish the Hebrew words and English translation were more visible. Toda!
Here’s a translation: www.hebrewsongs.com/song-adonolam.htm
Thank you but if they were on the screen while the song was being sung it would be easier to learn the vocabulary and sing-along. Thanks
MA YAFFAY🎉❤🕎
MA = what. YAFFAY = ????
You have a GORGEOUS voice and a great arrangement for the hymn
Thank you for your encouraging words:) Happy New Year!
With much appreciation❣️
I love this! Thank you!
I see the English translation is there but it is very difficult to see and read. Maybe the color or size of the English font? Do you see what I mean? Thanks!!
I love singing alone with your songs.
Thank you for your artist support, and yes, I see how the English could be a challenge! I’ll add the English lyrics here in the comments for you when I’m back in my office. Thanks!
@@bodybuildingboomers Thank you!!
@@DTT6981 Crown of all time, the one who reigned
Before all mortal shape was made
and when God’s will brought forth all things
then was the name supreme proclaimed.
And after everything is gone,
yet One alone, awesome, will reign.
God was, and is, and will remain,
in splendid balance, over all.
And God is One, no second is,
none can compare, or share God’s place.
Without beginning, without end,
God’s is all might and royal grace.
This is my God, my help who lives,
refuge from pain in time of trial,
my banner, and my place to fly,
my cup’s portion when, dry, I cry.
To God’s kind hand I pledge my soul
each time I sleep, again to wake,
and with my soul, this body, here.
Adonai’s love is mine; I shall not fear.
