As someone that hadn't seen any of this, but does randomly cruise TrekYards - I love that when I saw the thumbnail, my only thought was "What's the ship!" And the video is about the ship!!! Its history, technical quirks - _and what a beauty!_
Thank you for that uplifting film. Star Trek fans, we did it again! If it’s worth saving, we’ll darn we’ll get it saved! Doesn’t this give you the hope, the belief, that we can enact positive change? Standing up for Prodigy is advocating quality television for kids. Say it again? We did it! LLAP
Has anyone sat down and gave this a serious thought about the whole situation? The fact that Netflix is picking up Star Trek Prodigy Season 1, 2 and hopefully Season 3 and beyond tells me that the show wasn't going to be cancelled. Remember Star Trek Enterprise got cancelled in the middle of the 4th Season HOWEVER you can still see all the episodes on Paramount Plus. Prodigy, on the other hand, got cancelled then removed from Paramount Plus, showed a long clip from Season 2 introducing the second Voyager weeks ago only to announce that Netflix is now owning the rights to Star Trek Prodigy? I believe that in the middle of the first season of Prodigy it was decided to open a conversation with Netflix to possibly sell Prodigy because rhe show was becoming too expensive to make episodes. This was a well planned operation that Prodigy was going to Netflix but Paramount wanted to create some drama to add flair to the deal imo.
I suppose they had to wait with the announcement until all the paper work was signed. The signs were certainly there, what with the showrunner saying that Paramount was still paying for the completion of the season. Maybe Paramount, like Disney, are coming to realize that locking their original content exclusively on their own streaming service wasn't such a bright idea, after all.
In the end it's all just a tax play. They had to remove the series from P+ so they could get a tax write off for it. This happens with a lot of series. It's just a dumb tax thing. You have to tell that a series of yours didn't make it and remove it and you get money for it.
We look forward to seeing the ship and her crew make their way to the shipyards on Planet Netflix! Seriously this series of short films has beef great and I hope to see more! #StarTrekProdigySaved!
I wish i had found this channel years ago the Acting, the story, the CGI it's all just so damn good i absolutely love it this is perfect star trek for me
Really excited for more Protostar content from both the official and unofficial sources. Also, it's amazing to see Protostar in a live-action style. Great work Sam!
It will be very awesome if you did a Mirror Universe episode episode I wonder what Captain Hunter looks like in the Mirror Universe or or what happens if Ensign Reed she became captain of the ISS Horizon
I so love these productions. Keep them coming! ❤🖖
So proud to be a Trekkie today! Best fanbase in the universe! #savedstartrekprodigy
It's a great day to be a trekkie! We did it!
The Protostar is saved and is back at Starfleet! :D #Savedstartrekprodigy

why would the ship have nothing but widows on the bridge,, the pressure would crack it, or a rock
It’s space glass.

I like Prodigy. But I will be dammed if I fork out money for another streaming service. Paramount+ and Disney+ are enough.
Then just make sure you buy the Bluerays...that was one of the single biggest things which got us Season 2!
Samuel should stay behind the camera. 🖖🏻
:/
Can't believe the credits are longer than the bad and repetitive subject matter in a poor dialog assembly ... beam this channel into solid rock.
You need the hot rod engines of the JJ productions, ok?
Collapse the JJ-universe!!!
@@StarFleet_Tech1701, that's not going to happen.
1st!
