constantly looking for variety isn't the problem. The problem is not loving what you have because it doesn't represent who you are. And so, people buy mindlessly, unsatysfied with their waste of many in things they don't really like
Not only fashion but the industrial development is leading other animals towards extinction, they have not any shelter and no food, just moving here and there on the roofs and recently got what I observed that monkeys have started eating leaves. This us terrible to see.
I work for H&M and they have a recycling program for any clothes. You can bring in a bag of clothes, they do not have to be from H&M, it can be literally old ripped up blankets and towels (just a textile) and we will recycle it to make new clothes out of it. You will receive a 15% off your entire purchase coupon for every bag you donate. Any green tags that say conscious on them are either partially or fully made up of recycled materials. H&M’s goal for the future is to make all their clothes out of recycled material. I know this can only make a small difference, but just wanted to spread this in case anyone didn’t know. It will help a little at least, getting more clothes out of landfills
Recycling is NOT the solution! Most people think that giving their unwanted things for recycling makes a lot of difference. But it does not! Do you know that recycling clothes into other textiles, particularly new clothes, is very costly and difficult and less than one percent of clothing is recycled to make new clothing? Please get yourselves informed!!! The only solution is to BUY LESS and be more conscious when buying clothes that we really absolutely need.
In fact, this tricks the consumers into buying more new clothes because of the discounts and the thought that it is safe to buy clothes from H&M since it means they are saving the planet🤩 well, thank you for the information though. I have nothing against you, just H&M's ingenuity lol. Have a good day.🍀🌻🌌

See here's the thing that never makes sense to me and a question i have that maybe one of you can answer. If you are homeless how do you go about sustainable fashion? Chances are you just care you got SOMETHING. Now lets say you are very poor or even stretch to the middle class, are you going to do a bunch of research about what few items you can buy when you have so many other issues and problems and not enough money for them anyways? I don't understand how these people expect people at the bottom or people who are struggling to go about these extra steps to buy products they can barely afford. To me it seems the only people who have a true choice in all these "what should or shouldn't i buy" are very wealthy people. I just don't see how you are gonna have a lot of options when you are at the bottom.
Buying used is a good alternative as many fast fashion clothes end up in resale shops anyways. Clothing swaps are also a good option, or learning to repurpose and upcycle old clothing. Fundamentally though, fashion brands should just produce less amounts of clothing and we should be buying less as well. It's true that many sustainable brands are more expensive, so it's not always an option. However, if we can change the mindset about how we consume and produce clothing, we can use less and waste less.
