This is the 38th lecture in which we are going to discuss Division Of Labor By Emile Durkhiem With special reference to Machanical and Organic Solidarity.
To Durkheim, the division of labor is in direct proportion with the dynamic or moral density of a society. This is defined as a combination of the concentration of people and the amount of socialization of a group or society.
The Division of Labour in Society is the doctoral dissertation of the French sociologist Émile Durkheim, published in 1893. It was influential in advancing sociological theories and thought, with ideas which in turn were influenced by Auguste Comte
