Waterproofing A Crawlspace | DIY Sump Pump Installation

This video covers a system we installed for a client in South Tampa, FL. Our client had a yard with poor grading, which caused rainwater to pool around the perimeter of the home and overflow into their crawlspace. We installed a simple perimeter drain to catch all of the surface water, and used gravity to direct it into a sump basin, where it could then be pumped under the crawlspace and deck, and into the ally behind the home.
This is a very thorough video, where you can learn how to install a proper sump system with ease! We will also be having a part 2, when we go back to the job for some ground-scaping!
