Tagalog and Japanese has similarities in Alpabhet, pronunciation and grammar. this is why it's not that hard for a filipino to pronounce japanese words and japanese pronounce filipino words. That's also the reason why tagalog-translated japanese songs and japanese-translated tagalog songs just fits right with the melody/music/beat

*japanese vowels: a,i,u,e,o*
*tagalog consonants: ba,ka,da,ga,ha,la,ma,na,nga,pa,ra,sa,ta,wa,ya*

Japanese and Tagalog are very different when it comes to arrangement of words and grammar. the syllabication is different too that's why other race are having difficulty pronouncing the word correctly. there are words that should be given right "accent" and "emphasis" too. the difference between the a e i o u versus the a i u e o is a big factor. all of the things i mentioned are also the reason why Japanese are having difficulty pronouncing other language. if a non-Nihongo speaking person sings in Japanese, to non-Japanese it may sound as if they are pronouncing it right, BUT to Japanese and to those fluent in Nihongo - the mistakes are pretty obvious.
