  • Arrow fletchings can get damaged or broken off during shooting. Being able to strip the fletchings to be able to re-fletch your arrows. Keeping your arrows' fletching in top condition can be a big impact on your accuracy as the fletchings help stabilize and steer your arrows in-flight.

Thank you for the video. I shoot both wood and carbon shafts. I just went through this process for woods and ruined 3 wood shafts. The others came out pretty good. I used a dull Swiss Army knife and I still bit into the shaft. Arrrgh! Anyway thanks for the video.

I am sorry to hear about the wood arrows getting ruined. I've not found anything, other than like what you did with a dull blade, that works good with wood arrows. I've seen more folks using arrow wraps on wood shafts for this very reason, but never tried them on wood myself.

Jesus, it's bad to watch you do the pruning! Do it so that your left hand is behind the knife! If you are strong, you can hold it this way, if you are not strong, prop up the end of the arrow, but it is very important that you have your hand behind the knife anyway! If the knife slips, it will go into your hand... Anyway, thank you for the energy and time invested in the videos!🥰
