At about 34 my son started to live his adventure. All his previous life of school, elite disciplined sport, starting his own business, finding a business partner, writing an online course was all good.
It, however, gave him little imagined, real adventure.
He had combined some adventure, but no real excitement so he started to explore what he could do.
He drove to the North Pole, he went to the desert of Arizona, he camped photographing bears, and other fauna.
At 39 he thought he’d try the greatest adventure of a lifetime, a personal intimate relationship. They travelled to India to meet her family. He felt alive, and was ready to build the family adventure, together with someone else.
God bless all who give their adventuresome spirit a try.
In memory of J, his life cut short.

I also feel alot different after spending a day in nature. It could be electricity that does something to us, in our houses and offices you are surrounded by wires that carry alot of current and radiate electromagnetic field. Then add our routers that radiate 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz and the high mobile signals in our neighborhoods... There is no way this doesnt have any effect like they claim. It could also be lack of noise in nature.

While no supporter of either, there is a point about adventure, about motivation to go forward. Where I disagree is that "adventure" isn't limited to just a place. The adventure can be about exploring your own state of being too (others call it like a spiritual journey).

    THE FISHERMAN AND THE WEAVER
The fisherman was old and weary
His life being full of care
His boat often leaked when out
And his net would sometimes tear
He caught enough fish he thought, just to feed him for the day
So, not knowing what else to do
He folded his hands to pray
By chance the weaver heard him
As he walked along the dock
And during the night he wove him a net
From the best he had in stock
Taking some pitch, he patched up the fisherman's boat
Then tied it to a nearby post
    Using a brand new rope
    The fisherman awoke in thanksgiving
As he surveyed his new net
And when he saw his patched-up boat
He got on his knees and wept
    In time, also the weaver
    Himself fell into great need
And not knowing what else to do
He folded his hands to plead
Rising up early the next morning
What he saw brought tears to his eyes
Outside his door was a barrel
    With fish swimming inside
    The Fisherman and the Weaver

@@joshchapman4753 Valid point! I might argue that though w/ my OWN experiences both giving & RE-ceiving perspective on a personal level. Generosity to the wrong people can do more harm then good however... when GOOD people just NEED a lit generosity from those that have it to share? Well that seems to me the 🔑 that is NEEDED for an individual to un-lock 🔐 the things in their lives that are RE-Stricting them from opening the prison cells in their lives (metaphorically) FOR themselves to RE-Gain the power-Less-ness they FEEL due to their LIMITED Options surrounding their lives because so many factors come into play when a persons life becomes so un-manageable! I have found that helping when you can to the right person can set them on the right path so they can be USEFUL to the people around them & in-turn... EM-power-‘ment... the POWER maybe they lost along the way due to so un-fore-seen events & they were ALWAYS meant for a purpose & the roadblock is a “HAND UP” not a “Hand OUT” so they can feel the the power come back to live through empowerment of a WAY TO change their lives themselves! I think our society as it stands, our adventure is individual based and small community based, collectives, affinity groups, and Peterson wants to try to collectivize people on the level of some larger collective that he identifies alignment with corporatism, right wing / elitism / anti-worker interests / anti-feminist / and anti-individual rights all too often.
