Dave Schultz Taught Me: Don't Take Yourself So Seriously

Brandon Slay and Dave Schultz formed a tight bond while training together at the Foxcatcher Farms wrestling room. Slay had watched Schultz win Olympic Wrestling Gold in 1984 and once Slay arrived at Penn, he worked out with Dave Schultz twice a week. Of the many lessons learned from Dave Schultz, Slay says that the biggest takeaway was the "Dave taught me to not take myself so seriously."
