Nice harvest, to make dragging it out easier I use my winter pulk, works great. Pull on the ropes instead of bending over pulling on the antlers . Congrats!!!
Also 19:59. It’s one buck bag limit in the state regardless of license type. Party hunting only applies if you’re within earshot of other party members 🤐
Hey thanks! I don't see "earshot" in the regs. Just need to be in the field at the same time and be able to contact other members of the party in the event a deer is shot (so your group doesn't shoot too many deer and so the other member can come validate the kill tag at the spot of the kill). If I'm wrong, please direct me to the language! Thanks for watching!
@@patchinfamilyyou are correct. It only specifies that all members of the party must be “afield” at the same time. Whatever that means is not clarified by a quantifiable distance
I prioritize the rifle shot to the camera shot. When this guy snuck in behind me at close range, I wasn’t going to risk moving my camera. Maybe if I were on network TV and had sponsors, or if this was private land with lots of deer, that analysis would be different.
I love watching you guys in the cabin play cards and having a couple of cold ones and laughing. Brings back memories. Thanks
😊
It’s the best part of being at the shack! Thanks for sharing it with us!
Very relaxing vid great buck I felt like I was there with you guys
Hey thanks for joining us!
A very nice buck congratulations.
Hey thanks!

Thanks! I used a drag rope with a strap over my shoulder for most of it.
Very nice Buck
Thanks 👍
I know a lot of guys that use a Jet sled to get deer out of the woods. Great buck! Congrats!
Thanks! What fun would it be to make it easier? 😂
Unreal you were my CRMJ professor. Glad to see you guys had a good trip

@ There’s a lot of that in the regs! 😂
If it's like Wisconsin, the rules get more ambiguous every year.
Thanks, Justin
Great video
Thank you!
Nice buck !! The drag is always fun but getting it in the truck alone is the hardest!!
For sure! Couldn’t do that on my own! Thanks for watching!
Congrats on the big buck ❤👍 If where you I would get a plastic slay it makes it half as hard to pull 👍
Thanks! Hard to fit a plastic sled in my backpack! 😂
@patchinfamily leave it at your stand or where you park you quad just a ideal. I've took out lots of deer that way. I know I'm not getting younger 👍
Loved gramps red long jhons
Classic!
mud creek road! my buddies cabin is down there! been down there plenty of times
Nice! Small world!
nice buck
Thanks!
Success, wow
Down the mud creek?
Mud creek road in northern Minnesota!
Awesome video looks like you hunt up by the north shore where abouts are yah. Me and my family hunt in beaver bay just north of two harbors
Thanks! We’re west of you, closer to Lake Vermilion.
Nice
Nice Buck! Get yourself a legal Blaze orange for your torso please.
Thanks!
WOW
Hunting isn't for the weak. If you get a deer then you have evenore work
Not sure if ur gonna do a shoulder mount but u just ruined that cape.......pay xtra at taxidts
Nope, no shoulder mount. Thinking European. Thanks for watching.
That is easily an 800# deer.
Sure felt like it at the end! 😂
Nice buck. But your shirt isnt legal blaze orange.
Hey thanks!
Get a deer cart, buddy
In my woods a cart wouldn’t work. Too thick. Plus, I need the exercise from all the snacking in the stand and beverages in the shack!
...Dislike whenever everything else gets filmed except for the deer and the shot...

shooting a deer on camera is a UA-cam no no
