Very nice Buck
Thanks 👍
Loved gramps red long jhons
Classic!
Very relaxing vid great buck I felt like I was there with you guys
Hey thanks for joining us!
Get a deer cart, buddy
In my woods a cart wouldn’t work. Too thick. Plus, I need the exercise from all the snacking in the stand and beverages in the shack!
Not sure if ur gonna do a shoulder mount but u just ruined that cape.......pay xtra at taxidts
Nope, no shoulder mount. Thinking European. Thanks for watching.
Wolf shit
I've seen a lot of wolf piles over the years - these piles were much much bigger. But maybe?
I know a lot of guys that use a Jet sled to get deer out of the woods. Great buck! Congrats!
Thanks! What fun would it be to make it easier? 😂
mud creek road! my buddies cabin is down there! been down there plenty of times
Nice! Small world!
nice buck
Thanks!
...Dislike whenever everything else gets filmed except for the deer and the shot...
I prioritize the rifle shot to the camera shot. When this guy snuck in behind me at close range, I wasn’t going to risk moving my camera. Maybe if I were on network TV and had sponsors, or if this was private land with lots of deer, that analysis would be different.
shooting a deer on camera is a UA-cam no no
Nice video! Get yourself a legal Blaze orange covering for your torso and don’t forget the fat when you’re walking out.
Thanks!
Great video
Thank you!
Nice Buck! Get yourself a legal Blaze orange for your torso please.
Thanks!
Awesome video looks like you hunt up by the north shore where abouts are yah. Me and my family hunt in beaver bay just north of two harbors
Thanks! We’re west of you, closer to Lake Vermilion.
That is easily an 800# deer.
Sure felt like it at the end! 😂
I love watching you guys in the cabin play cards and having a couple of cold ones and laughing. Brings back memories. Thanks 😊
It’s the best part of being at the shack! Thanks for sharing it with us!
Congrats on the big buck ❤👍 If where you I would get a plastic slay it makes it half as hard to pull 👍
Thanks! Hard to fit a plastic sled in my backpack! 😂
@patchinfamily leave it at your stand or where you park you quad just a ideal. I've took out lots of deer that way. I know I'm not getting younger 👍
Nice buck !! The drag is always fun but getting it in the truck alone is the hardest!!
For sure! Couldn’t do that on my own! Thanks for watching!
Down the mud creek?
Mud creek road in northern Minnesota!
Nice buck. But your shirt isnt legal blaze orange.
Hey thanks!
Nice harvest, to make dragging it out easier I use my winter pulk, works great. Pull on the ropes instead of bending over pulling on the antlers . Congrats!!!
Thanks! I used a drag rope with a strap over my shoulder for most of it.
Unreal you were my CRMJ professor. Glad to see you guys had a good trip
Also 19:59. It’s one buck bag limit in the state regardless of license type. Party hunting only applies if you’re within earshot of other party members 🤐
Hey thanks! I don't see "earshot" in the regs. Just need to be in the field at the same time and be able to contact other members of the party in the event a deer is shot (so your group doesn't shoot too many deer and so the other member can come validate the kill tag at the spot of the kill). If I'm wrong, please direct me to the language! Thanks for watching!
@@patchinfamilyyou are correct. It only specifies that all members of the party must be “afield” at the same time. Whatever that means is not clarified by a quantifiable distance
@ There’s a lot of that in the regs! 😂
If it's like Wisconsin, the rules get more ambiguous every year.
A very nice buck congratulations.
Hey thanks!
Good for you so many pansy little bitches would never do that. What you did 🎉 you are a rockstar. 😊
Thanks, Justin
Success, wow
Nice
WOW
Hunting isn't for the weak. If you get a deer then you have evenore work
So lovely! I'm glad you mentioned that the iceberg was probably the size of a house. It was deceptively small on my screen and I'm sure the glacier itself was, too.
Thanks! Yes the Dawes Glacier is 600 feet tall and a half mile wide! Hard to grasp the scale when viewed from afar while on a huge ship.
So rugged looking, not very welcoming
Yes, very rugged!
You look better without the hood Looks very forbidding, cold too
Wasn’t too cold by Wisconsin standards - mid 40s.
How about those views!!
Amazing!
I have Deer hunted bow and rifle all over northern MN. People just don't know how much our Deer and Moose and taking a big hit from the Wolves. Our Governor only cares for votes, not our wildlife!
Thanks for watching!
I used to haul veneer logs to Stanley WI and the last few years I drove there was a detour for highway 53 that took me past there. Beautiful spot I’d driven within in a mile of for 25 years and never saw! Gotta love detours sometimes. Thanks for the memories 😊
Thanks for watching!
Pretty sure I've never seen that many fish in my life!
Me neither! It was insane. Though the locals said you can’t eat them because they taste terrible at this point in their life journey.
You needed to visit the buffets a lot more before you walked around in the wind so you could pack on some pounds and anchor yourself to the deck!
Good idea! That’ll be the plan next time!
We're going on the White Pass RR excursion on our cruise, too. It looks so breathtaking! Skagway's gold rush history is very interesting to me, so I'm looking forward to learning more about that, too, Compared to our W Caribbean cruise on the Harmony of the Seas, the Alaska cruises seem much more port-intensive and less relaxing. There is so much to see and do.
That is definitely true. Less lounging around and more exploring the ports. We loved it though!
Wow, what an amazing excursion! The footage was incredible-crossing that bridge looked thrilling, and the views from the train were absolutely epic. I could sit there and take it all in for hours. This really feels like something everyone should experience at least once in their life. Also, great tip about booking early to save money-definitely appreciated! And those fish and chips looked delicious. Skagway seems like such a charming little town. I’d love to just relax on a balcony with my camera and a cup of coffee. That’s exactly how I imagine spending time on an Alaskan cruise!
Thanks! We really lucked out with the weather. The fog and low clouds were a bummer but we had no rain the entire trip. That doesn’t happen often for a week in Alaska. The views were incredible everywhere you looked.
Awesome !!!! That real hunting brother!
Hey thanks! Looking forward to another season in just a few weeks!
So pretty!!! I loved your Blue Oyster Cult addition.
MORE COWBELL!
Oh wow, the Windjammer looked packed! Those time lapses were absolutely beautiful and epic. We really need to get on an Alaskan cruise! And congrats on getting the R5 Mark II-that’s such a great camera! It’s definitely going to take your footage to the next level! Too bad you didn’t have it on this cruise, the shots would’ve been unreal. I’m so glad you got to see whales-some people miss out, and that’s a bummer. Those bears were really posing for everyone, that’s hilarious! And all those salmon must have been torture for the inner fisherman in you guys. The time difference would definitely be tough for us, we can barely make it past 10 p.m. Eastern! Another awesome video, guys!
Thanks again! Sitka was our favorite port on this trip!
That Wisconsin blood is really coming through-hot tubbing in 55° weather! That wind looked wild. I’ve heard the stretch between Seattle and Alaska can get pretty windy and wavy, and it definitely looks like that’s true. Haha, you should reach out to DJI for a sponsorship after proving the RS4 can handle those gusts! And oh my gosh, those bumper car hits were totally hard-like bumper cars with prison rules. 😂 The 270° venue looks amazing. I’ve heard it can be tricky to get a good view of the stage, but it’s such a unique space for a show. Awesome video, guys!
Hey thanks! You are right about the prison rules bumper cars. As you saw I nearly lost my phone! I blame my kid. The hot tub would have been amazing if only it was a little hotter. I had a goal of sitting in it while watching glaciers, but that didn’t happen. We definitely scoped out the 270 and sat strategically for the shows. From the back you probably can’t see anything. Love the RS4! Took a while to get used to (and it is a bit conspicuous on a cruise ship - like a 15 foot selfie stick😊), but it really smoothed out the footage. Thanks for joining us!
An old coworker put my business card on the gum wall a few years back. I wonder if it's still there?? LOL
Oh that’s awesome! Didn’t see any business cards!
Nice video!
Thanks for the visit!
Love the woods smells star's everything about being there thanks
Same! Looking forward to another visit in a few weeks.
That was a full day of excursions! My favorite part was the salmon in the river - wow! Truly jaw-dropping.
Thanks - it was amazing, lucky timing!
That dude at the 7:05 mark sure could bust a move!!
I hear he’s a regular on the Water Carnival dance floor!
What a trip! Lots of core memories made!!
For sure!
Pls give a shout out to the waiters Vishal and No Kadik amazing waiters
Our waiters were fantastic too! Great service all around.
