Going there mid may- staying close by at a resort, going solo any tip for a solo traveler? And is the bus easy to use? Thinking going to do my own cooking some night is it easy getting grocery in the area?
Hello. I don't have any special tips for a solo traveler. There is a good bus system, easy to use. There are supermarkets in Vilamoura and in the city of Quarteira, which is close to Vilamoura, easily accessed by bus, there is a very good vegetable, fruit and fish market. I hope you have a great stay in Vilamoura and enjoy Portugal and the extraordinary Portuguese people.
I don't know Mallorca but if Mallorca and Vilamoura are similar then I'm going to want to visit Mallorca. I'll put it in my plans. Thank you for your comment.

The thing I don´t like about Mallorca is that there is a lot xenophobia and also disrespect in the society. Ofcourse there are also nice people there, but the attitude is quite different than in Portugal. However, it is a stunningly beautiful island. Let me know if you have any questions about it. I lived there for quite a few years.
Hello Paul, in Portugal there are always people who speak English and it is easy to communicate and buy whatever you want in any store. In Vilamoura I will say that in all stores you can buy in English. Good stay in Portugal. 😊 Thanks for the comment.
