Regine like to scream high notes because that's the only thing she can do because when she sing lower her voice is just ordinary. Unlike Lea even she sing the low tone she still sound amazing. Just saying .... Not hating
SoCal Rc Guy she's been singing in english since age 8. speaking English since age 6 probably. English is an official language in the Philippines. Very commonplace. Her singing voice though is another matter. very special indeed.

It is widely spoken.. Don't be amaze with Lea Salonga. She came from a class and decent family and performing since 6 years old aside from the fact that she is one of the finest artist on the planet having a class on her own.
She grew up in affluent family and studied in a private school here in the Philippines were she graduated with honor.So she is already know how to speak English before she went out of the country.Rich kids here are fluent in English language.
Her dad was a government scholar, a good English speaker and she once said in an interview that her dad practiced her and Gerard to speak inEnglish and explore the English language so she has a wide vocab and a fluent speaker.
