@stormomega37 hi! I recently bought Blanche Bête and I love the smell ❤ the longevity and sillage is not good on me though. The juice is pink, unlike what I've seen on pictures, do you know if that's normal? Can that be affecting its performance?

So glad I’m not the only one missing things with Blanche Bette… I get soft florals, like fluffy florals, but not milky or gourmand.

I’ve been wearing that Kayali to bed, I love it! It’s like a warm hug. I get what gabby is saying about the patchouli but no where near like Mugler dna as example. I have all Kayali except the new pistachio, and that apple lovefest one (annoyed green jolly rancher smell in a red bottle instead of red apple! Ugh). Blanche Bette is a beautiful laconic creamy flan like gourmand that lasts on me. That one and bloody wood are lovely from that house.

I am glad to report that finally Chocolate Queen opened itself wonderfully on my skin today, after more than a week of receiving it.
I tested it the day it came, and some of the notes were “missing” while others felt too strong. I knew that it’s one of those cases when the formulation got jolted a bit too much during transportation and transitioning to different temperatures. I waited patiently, and today finally I love it on my skin! Wow, really nice composition! Well done, Gabby! And looking forward for more to come heheh

Hi Gabby! I'm gonna miss your haul videos since I love them so much! I tested Blanche Bete in store and what I got was mostly milky coconut. Since i live in a tropical country coconut is common and not one of my fave notes. I did not love it enough to buy it. Am sorry you had to pay so much for it, but I think it's worth keeping and wearing anyway. Since you're on a sandalwood kick right now I wonder if you've tried Santal Vanille by The 7 Virtues? It's a simple but lovely, calming fragrance that I love wearing to bed. Just creamy sandalwood and a dry, not sweet vanilla - clean, comforting vibes - and very affordable! 🥰
I wasn’t impressed with Blanche bete…at first now I love it!!! It’s sweet enough for me while being airy but fluffy at the same time. For me full bottle to me because it’s nothing like anything in my collection 😊
I layered dulcis in fundo with Annick Goutal Nuit et Confidences. I got stopped SO many times by people to ask what fragrance I was wearing lol I was mot ready for that 🤣

I love the Gourmand King too and Lattedoro has been on my sample list ever since he mentioned it. I need to find a sample!! It's too expenssive to blind buy.
I had a very different experience with Blanche Bete. To me it gives major coconut vibes, milky coconut butter and cacao and a little sweet but not sickly. There’s no coconut listed in the notes but that’s what I get. I’ve heard it described as a summer gourmand and that’s exactly what I’d say, though I could see how some people might find it a little heavy for hot weather.
Gaby, have you tried any Lorenzo Pazzaglia scents? If not, try Van Py Rhum, Van Sea & Van Exstasyx- all of them beast mode vanilla based monsters💥🖤 edit: also Epico, Vani Charnel is worth trying- soft cashmere vanilla pudding.

Have you tried Trussardi Pure Jasmine? It's got the same whipped cream note as Trussardi Passeggiata in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and the pistachio note reminds me of Girl of Now. It's really fluffly pistachio vanilla whipped cream and jasmine. Thanks for the great reviews!

To me blanche bete smells like a milky incense +jasmine+ musk. I totally get what u’re saying.
I have the same feelings about the New Kayali, patchouli for a patchouli hater. However, instead of getting a full bottle I made my own by mixing Molinard Patchouli and Vanilla and I'm completely satisfied. Even got compliments from random people in Lidl.
I usually don't like patchouli but I like wearing that Molinard you mentioned. It's chocolatey.
Hi Gaby ❤ vanilla sugared patchouli is to my nose just sugared patchouli with an early 90s vibe (yep smelt something very similar as a little kid) and some vanilla in the background. Too much patchouli (and outright sugar) for my liking 😢
It started to change on me now. I m getting more vanilla

Gabby- do you like Dates Delight??? I've been debating that one.... is it sweet? I want THAT. Is it animalic? I CANT do THAT. And, yes- I've been wanting Blanche Bete... but now I don't know. I want it sweet!
It’s definitely not animalic. I steer fully clear from anything animalic. I have and love dates delight. The bottle is so fantastic as well :)
I also have Dates Delight and second this!! I also love What About Pop, but that would be one to maybe sample before buying…but it’s another gorgeous, yummy, unique fragrance!!

Hey Gabby, for me Blanche Bete is just a milky supper cloying scent. Not a safe blind buy. I wouldn't buy it even for a fraction of the price. Not my thing.

I was so disappointed in Bête Blanche. To me it is just only coconut water. Not even milk. Just coconut water

It was a huge disappointment to me as well! 😩 I think it smells like a haircare product. Like a coconutty leave-in conditioner. I thought I would love it, so I bought a massive decant. It's not sweet at all. But I'm going to try it again in the warm Spring. I might like it better. 🌳🙂

The milk note in Blanche bête is nauseating to me. It smells like yogurt and milk that has gone rotten. Very sour such that it feels like it cleaves the fragrance in half. Like there are 2 fragrances at discord with each other. If I could cut the milk note, I'd be happy and buy the full bottle because the other half is gorgeous.
On me is just very musky🤔😔
