In the “Restless” collection of talks, Pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr. draws our attention to why rest is important, how God established it since the beginning of creation, and what taking a Sabbath really looks like in the message “Closed on Sunday.”
God did not intend for us to live a life solely dedicated to the grind of responsibilities and commitments. We should have a cadence of work and rest, creating a healthy balance between the two.
Though we may have forgotten the last time we made room in our schedules to be restored, God reminds us to find soul refreshment and live in rhythm of resting in him.

Work work work and coffee coffee coffee and go go go lead me to an anxiety attack this July that still has me recovering to this day. I can relate ...i also experienced major burn out a few yrs ago..hope u can recognize the signs earlier and be kind to your mind and body going forward. Above all else keep God first..He has your back...He wants you to succeed more than you want for urself...hope u find a good church and supportive community to walk alongside you and help provide the balance we all need. I cried when I saw the video, although I've seen it before! Im very new to Pentecostal part of Christianity but I truly believe in God's miracles... Honestly at the moment I don't want kids ever, but maybe one day everything will change (this year my life changed drastically so I'm trying to never say never), and if I do, I'll name my son after my father, who passed away when I was 2 years old. You Wilkerson family are amazing, may God bless you with more miracles and beauty of life! I'm dreaming of meeting you one day...

Sunday is not the Lord's day.
God did not bless sanctify and made holy the first day of the week. No other day of the week can take the place of this day.
Were we commanded to keep a sabbath day or keep the sabbath day? Can we keep a day holy that God did not make holy?
