    The log yard looks quite different to when I was there in March. I completely fell for Tennessee on that trip we took

    Can you comment on any considerations concerning the green-ness of the wood at this stage (after it was taken from the yard back in the summer) and how that relates to assembly of the chair? Should you be waiting for these firewood pieces to dry further?

    With permission, the local county parks let me harvest downed trees from greenways and such.
    I can use a chainsaw to cut it up, but I have to haul it out on a dolly.
    I've managed to get quite a few pieces up to 8ft long.
    Now if I could just find some fallen Cypress on some of the TVA lakes near here.
