I own a 362. I don't believe you gave it a fair review. I demoed a 345 before buying the 362 and I still own a Kubota SVL95-2 in my fleet. I am a residential building contractor as well as a developer who owns the grading company that builds our own roads, installs our own utilities and preforms all of the grading on our new home construction.. For referanace , I have been in the construction business for 43 years and I own15 pieces of grading equipment. Excavators, dozers, tractors to pull pans, compaction equipment as well as farm tractors.
The 362 is much louder than either the 345 or the 95. but it is a beast. The 345 and the 95 have around 90 hp. The 362 has 114 and enhanced high flow delievers 41.6 gpm at 4100 psi. The gpm is similar on all 3 but the psi at 4100 and 114hp on the 362 makes an big differance when runnung our Gyrotrac mulcher. The higher psi and hp helps it recover rotor speed much faster and it mulchers larger material much more efficiently. The 362 is used for all the same tasks as the the other two except driving it on driveways due to the weight. The big diiferance is capacity. The 1.25 cy bucket makes filling garages and porches with stone much faster as well as moving larger amounts of any material. The hp makes root raking when clearing with the grapple bucket more efficient as well. I prefer rubber tracks for our use. I build every house in the neighborhood. You can't drive from lot to lot without loading it on a trailer with steel tracks. I haul it on a tandem trailer behind a Ford F550 most of the time. Rubber tracks are a personal preferance. Each size machine has its use. Every one has their own opinion on most things in life. We personally have not had good experiences trying to use a dozer blade on any CTL. You can not grade with a dozer blade on any CTL unless you can switch off self leveling. Self leveling makes the blade roll forward every time you raise up on the arms. If you need a dozer, you need to buy a dozer. not use a CTL. Make sure you have the correct machine for the job if your budget allows.
You should have taken the time to properly adjust the machine prior to operating and videoing. Your video made it look extremely jumpy. The EH controls have many settings. There are 3 presets. Slow, med, and fast. You can also customize all settings. Track reaction, boom speed, bucket curl speed, ect. You can adjust it to match the operators ability and reaction speed. These settings can be saved for each individual operator for future use. I have also saves settings for differant operations. I have a settings for bucket work, grading, muching, as well as raking bcause I want the machine speed to be differant for each operation.
Note for potential Buyers of a 362. It comes in 2 configurations. High flow plus and Enhanced high flow. Don't confuse High flow plus for Enhanced high flow. NH has done a poor job of making it clear for the consumer as well as their Dealers. High flow plus has 41.6 gpm at 3450psi and only one set of flt face connections. It does high and std flow out of the same couplers. There is a switch on the left column to change the flow. This requires make a convertor to be able to use your other low flow implements. Enhanced high flow has 41.6 gpm at 4100psi. It has an additional set of low flow couplers. They however appear to only put out 8 gpm. It is my understanding that these are for operating a door on a mulcher. I guess it might operate a 4 n 1 but I doubt it will operate other low flow attachments but I do not know that to be a fact. I stiil personally use my convertors.
Finally, I paid $ 114,000 for my 362 in mid December 2022. It is a nice machine and it is a beast, but it is not perfect. I have not found a machine that does everthing the way I prefer. Thats I own differant size as well as brands of machines. Most of the time my equipment manufacture of choice is based on Dealer support. Every piece of equipment will need support. Make sure you have a good Dealer for when that time comes.

We have this machine case 620b. Its an absolute beast. Run a fecon mulching head on it and its impressive, one of my favorite loaders to run. Puts the deere and cat to shame. Ride is rougher but the power and lifting capacity out weighs the ride

Thank you Tyson for taking the time to review this unit. New Holland was generous in allowing us to move this unit around for demo and most importantly the feedback. The feedback is very important to New Holland as that is how they engineer changes to improve comfort, performance and overall customer satisfaction. Attachments of course vary depending on the application and the bucket they shipped was just a bucket they shipped. For the application that you used this in, a lo profile extended lip bucket would have been the right option. Loading tandem trucks, heavy loader work with bucket or pallet fork and with steel tracks, mulching application. Thank you again, Tyson for the review and the comments you made in this video will be forwarded to New Holland Construction. Very well done video and we appreciate the feedback, sincerely Gary

That's a nice peice of machinery. I have been debating on buying that exact machine or the Cat 299 D3 XE land management. The other option was the Deer 333g. I have a New Holland and Deer dealer local. The primary use will be mulching, but at times would be loading trucks and pushing dirt along with moving large round bales. This C362 just seems like such a beast. The price Tag is very steep, put it to work though and it could make sense. Thanks for the Video and keep them coming.

a low profile long bottom bucket is a must for that 362 it sucks not being able to see the cutting edge. they put that tall bucket on the 362 to skew the breakout force to make it have better breakout

Monster. At some point the machine is so big it would be hard to crown a driveway, spin sideways and scoop out a ditch line in a driveway, back up a slope, etc.... would probably be better off with a small regular track loader. A 299 size cat is even too big for most jobs. 289 is about right for a larger CTL.

What a behemoth 😲For us CTLs are for landscaping you'd never be able to use that 362 for that you've got a bull in a china shop you'd destroy a yard it wouldn't fit any where. That machine has a place it sure isn't residential jobs. I wouldn't buy a machine that size if I needed a CTL, the company I worked for previously has a Kubota SVL75 the company I work for now a Cat 359 both similar size machines anything bigger it just doesn't work for what we do. Not sure if the camera amplified the operating noise, man that 362 is noisy inside the cab. LOL I know what you mean about not seeing the leading edge of the bucket, my old boss bought what we called the manure bucket it was a 1 yard bucket you could not see anything. It was a bitch to grade with I eventually got used to it. We had a 4 in 1 bucket which I preferred I took that bucket to jobs to my bosses chagrin.
