Hi Rebecca, the only thing I have from Stilla is the eyeliner which I absolutely luv. I never thought to try anything else. That look is so springy and beautiful. That gloss is to die for, I must try it. I think this one of my fav looks 😍.
You know what, Sara? I agree. This look is so fresh and pretty AND it’s not as pricey as so many other brands. I’m so glad I found them again!!! 💕

You have a crystal ball!!!! I DID have a whole wardrobe of these back in the day!!!!!! These are the ultimate gloopity-gloop!!!! I first purchased a couple of singles and then I loved them so much that I purchased two sets of eight glosses!!!! I had at least 20 of these back in the Stila day!!! Not joking. I don’t remember them being tingly either. Very thick, yes, but don’t remember any tingle (don’t like that either). Oh, man, I was IN LOVE with these!!!!! Literally in love; not exaggerating. Thank you for bringing them back and for mentioning me!!!!!!! Also, this just in: the technician just left and we have heat!!!! PHEW!!!! We do need to change a couple of parts within a few weeks, but the thing is working and I don’t have to suffer anymore!!!! Wow, we had two intensely cold days/nights over here!!! Makes me appreciate the furnace a lot more!!!!! HUGE hugs to you, my friend!!!!! And best of luck to your parents too!!! 😘🤗🥰
I knew you'd be a Stila Lip Glaze woman!!!!! YAY!!! I remember my hair getting stuck in it. I remember clicking too much and it getting goopity goop everywhere but I don't recall a tingle. This one is called Lip Plumping though and I'm not sure that was part of the name back in the day (because we wore this stuff when we were 3 years old ahem). I wonder if the tingle is new? No worries, it is subtle and goes away quickly. This is really the gloopity gloop leader.
Oh YAY!!! They fixed your heater!!! And here, in So Cal it's starting to get hot again. Maybe where you are, too. But still, a relief to have it fixed AND not have to pay for a new one. Am in the process, now, with my parents, of urging them to get more than ONE tech who sees them coming from miles away and tells them they need an entire new system. Am suspish. Sigh. They do not take the word of their daughter because they did this long before I was in this world. What? Dealt with dishonest heater repair dudes? Well, perhaps. Sigh!!!! 🥰
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty You are so right. I don’t recall the word “plumping” back then (yes, age 3, of course, cough cough). Mind if I borrow a cough lozenge?? They were called Stila Lip Glaze and the word “glaze” was what first caught my attention. I thought: glaze sounds thick, woohoo!!!! I was delighted to discover how thick and shiny they were. I miss them!! Over here it’s not getting warm yet. We have this annoying mist/drizzle right now and the temp is in the 50s. But inside the house I am literally going “aaahhhhhh” with my delish furnace. Also, I couldn’t agree more with the suspish part of what you said!!!! I had three past experiences where I was smart enough not to fall for what people said-and they said it with extreme confidence. I went and got a second opinion and voila!!! I was right. How sad, but it does happen. Hugs!! 😘🤗

My parents are deceased, but I remember very well how my mom would not listen to one word I said (there were consequences and I was maaaaaad, but it is what it is-yep, theatrics when needed!!!) Ooohh, I feel my body relaxing after the tension of feeling cold no matter what (hot tea lasted only a few minutes, hot shower lasted 10 seconds, coats were a little too thin, and wine did work last night. 😂) Lately I’ve been thinking about buying the cough lozenge factory!!! I need a partner, if you are interested!!!! 😂😅😘😘😘

Hello there! Well, I'm THRILLED to have you here! How I came up with the channel or the name? Well, I've been a fashion and beauty editor for my entire adult life. I've worked as a fashion stylist and edited both celebrity and trade fashion and beauty magazines, written books, etc. But I noted, lately, that no one seems to read anymore. I laughed to myself that I'm 'not fit for print' anymore and should take it to youtube. So that became the channel name. It's an awkward name and no one understands it. Haha. But I've kept it as it somehow works now. But, yes, basically, everything I would have done in print, I now do here. So glad you asked!!! 😍

I have never tried anything but an eyeliner from Stila. The shadows look beautiful and blend-able. The duo will be nice to mix and use as blush. I love these shades on you 🥰🥰

Very cute colors, kinda Charlotte Tilbury-ish vibes definitely springtime soft. I’m not going to lie I’ve been wondering if Becca is closing due to the past years craziness what other brands will be sharing similar sad news, Stila is a brand at the top of that list in my mind. It’s not that the brand isn’t great or doesn’t produce great products but, because nobody was talking about them and that matters in the beauty industry sadly. Beautiful new releases, thanks for sharing because I haven’t heard a word of this Spring release. Btw, that orange nail polish is fab on you!!
Hello Bobbi! Thank you for your kind compliments! YESSSSSS......Stila was once a GIANT and now....crickets. The whole Becca thing has a level we're not hearing about, I guarantee you. They were bought by EL so long ago. My guess, with some of these brands, is that they were under performing before the pandemic and the crisis gives a good cover to close shop. That being said, it all comes back to your point that it's crowded out there and if you're not making a good lot of noise, you're likely to fall by the side. I wonder about the future of Stila. They ought to invest in marketing. These products are DELIGHTFUL! ❤️
Maybe a bit too warm for me but I do like it! These are the kind of shades I like in the summer with a tan. Lip glaze though... I don’t have fond memories of it. 🙂

Aeons ago I bought a Stila lip gloss & it put me off gloss for life. If I remember correctly I bought a particularly pink/girlie shade & I felt like ‘mutton dressed as lamb’ wearing it so the fault was entirely mine, sorry Stila 😬💕
Hahaha!!!! Oh Whitney, ok, your confession means that I want to do a confession to match yours. Stila glosses put ME off glosses too. What? Let me explain. Haha. They are so so so sticky that, frankly, I had had ENOUGH of glosses and went off them entirely until literally just a few years ago. During the video, I obviously revisited their gloss and liked it again. But I have to admit that the gloppy formula had me swearing off glosses for quite some time!!! Haha. ♥️
Hi Rebecca, I can remember the stickiness too & I think that combined with the barbie pink colour I picked (what was I thinking!) made me feel like I was an old woman trying to be a teenager (I was in my 30’s so not as ancient as I am now! 🤣) 💕
