What a nice interview! (and you two are always so darn cute together! ) I like the like about not finding stuff like this in Walmart (no cookie cutter decor). I feel the same way and my house is a mish-mash of all kinds of cool (to me anyway) stuff that is so different from all my friends homes. Keep up the great videos! I love watching you two bargain hunt!

You guys always find the best antiques. My area has nice antiques buried in junk. It's the fun of digging for treasure.

The 20-30 minutes of video you see is typically 4-5 hours of footage edited down to the most interesting parts, so I know what you mean about 'buried in junk' - sometimes it takes alot of digging to find what you're looking for, but when you do it makes it all worth it!!!! :D :D :D Thanks for watching!

There was one a few yrs ago on the Canadian History channel, but it ended. I love Karen & Rob's UA-cam channel along with yrs, Taco.

Hi Karen and Rob it's so obvious the love you have for each other, you get on with each other so well and you have the same interests and goals in life. That is very rare nowadays.
Couples don't seem to want to work on their relationships and they fall out of love so easily. You are setting a wonderful example of how couples can have a fun, working relationship with each other 😊❤️

LOL Awwe that's so sweet Sandra!!! Unfortunately, with our full time jobs, this is only a weekend hobby for us. So we come out with a new video each Thursday. Every once in a blue moon, we'll put out something extra on the weekends, like we did with the interview, and last week with Karen's project VLOG, but usually Thursdays are the day. :D We are so happy you are enjoying our adventures Sandra!!! :D

You guys remind me of me and my husband back in the 90's and early 2000's.. We did what you guys do. I had lymes disease and couldn't work for years..so we did flea marketing and yard saling.. We're in our 60's now and live in bfe (bung f egypt) so we don't do it anymore. I love watching your videos.. Thank you for doing them.. ps.. You two are too cute together.

Bargain Barons just an idea... cold there warming up here. You could make a trip down. Estate sales, garage sales year round, also this is the live music capital :D. So glad to see no bare walls & sterile white in your house. Would like to see The Dead South but looks like their tour is in Europe. Oh well.

That was an amazing interview! I loved hearing your story and getting to see parts of your house. You have some great collections, and I can see so many of your "instant ancestors"!! If the snow gets too deep this winter, you can always pick a corner of the house, a wall, etc... and do a short "show and tell" about where you found it, how much, what it is, etc... I would love to see you get a tv show too!! BTW, close the door, your cold air got all the way down here. It is 1 degree C. Yikes!
Wow!!! It got cold there in a hurry!!! Well, it didn't warm up here at all this week, if that's any consolation.... Believe it or not, we're heading out to a couple sales today (including the indoor rummage sale with the book lady!) So we should have some more picking action ready for this coming Thursday!!! WOOHOO!!

You both did a great job, and your house looked really cool! (Can't wait to see more of it this winter...) I think your subscribers are the only people who noticed the subtle nervous changes in Karen's body language, just because we usually see her being poised and confident during all of the treasure hunting videos. It was interesting to hear Rob do more of the talking since he's often the quieter-sidekick-videographer for the regular videos. Both of you are talented, and you make a great team! LOL that's great! hahaha Don't be sorry. We wish we could upload a video every day. Unfortunately, we work at regular full time jobs during the week, and only do this as a hobby on the weekends. We would *LOVE* to be able to do this every day!! Maybe some day if we turn into an actual TV show!! :D

How you get the money to buy all that? Just wondering.
Yes we both work regular jobs during the week. Karen works at a catering company, and Rob works for the local telecom company - however there is currently a labor dispute ha happening and so he is currently on strike with the union. :/

Have you had any ghosts in your house bringing home all those old photos of people?
Believe it or not, we have never had any strange or weird things happen here, but we DO sage the house every spring which is supposed to keep spirits away... so maybe that's been keeping things quiet.... hard to say.

Sorry, no... right now we are just collectors, and the show documents our collecting. Sometimes you will see Karen purchase something to flip locally, but as of right now we do not have a store or online shop. We hope to grow bigger soon tho, and once we can make UA-cam our full time job we plan on opening an online shop. We currently work regular jobs on top of filming and so that takes all our time currently.
Where are your own family pics good idea get some good pics and put them in the frames
We have a few around the house.... not many tho. Most family photos are in albums.
