Isiolo also is a cosmopolitan town in North Kenya with all the North Kenya community eg Somali, samburu, bora a, rendille and turkana , it's in the heart of the country great potential to be a resort city for Kenya
Isiolo is not in North Eastern Kenya. Isiolo is in Eastern Kenya. Also, Somalis are not the dominant group. That should be Borana and Meru. Somalis are dominant in North Eastern - Wajir, Mandera and Garissa.

Content is very good and informative, the local music is a nice touch and makes such local tourism vlogs more enticing. You should note the laws of filming on public lands and exposing private property e.g car number plates without consent. The two makes you liable to prosecution and being sued respectively. Finally, balance audio levels. I am looking forward to more local tourism vlogs and for the rest of Africa.
You tube has funny rules... Whereby you can't record music from the background without consent as well, bcause owners can claim part of your content or sue you!
15:56 the region had shifta gangs who were Somali by origin, they were found in the north eastern part from mandera, wajir and garissa, they wanted these regions to ceceed to Somalia, they were also found in isiolo marsabit dew to marginalization by the colonial, Kenyatta, moi government
Bro you`ve hit the nail on the head. No country in the world would cede its territorial boundaries to another country, not unless your leaders are brainless. African leaders made a resolution to respect the colonial boundaries as they were, in order to avoid perennial conflicts. Imagine Kenya ceding part of its territory to Tanzania, because the Maasai`s in Kenya want to be with their counterparts in Tanzania. It`s unheard of!! The colonial boundaries would often split communities and even relatives, like in the case of the Awori`s (some are in Uganda others in Kenya).
8:37 the reason for security check may be because the route is more favooured by human traffickers who use this route to Traffick people from Ethiopia to South Africa

I agree with you. The focus of the video was on Kenya somalia. I do understand all the border conflicts and fight over territories and the results of countries splitting because of the same. it is a long complex discussion which honestly no youtube video can solve. Important thing is finding ways to resolve conflicts ammicably.

Used to be Somali dominant in the 60`s due to the Military Barracks.
