He barely was in Haikyuu and didn’t have a ton of focus overall, but he impacted me a lot Haikyuu is all around inspiring in different ways, but he had the most different impact. He changed my perspective on life. Kita will always be one of my favorite anime characters, and this episode is one of my favorites

Sakusa, who's a top 3 spiker, is arguably the best all around player. He has no weaknesses. Hoshiumi, the Seagull guy, also can do everything. And you're wrong that Atsumu might give him a run for his money because right now Atsumu is BETTER than Kageyama. Anything that Kageyama could do, Atsumu could do...only better.
It’s not all about physical capability, though. Kageyama’s ability to CONSISTENTLY lock in and make things happen has impressed me the most, time and time again. When push comes to shove, he doesn’t complain, he doesn’t get scared, and that’s why he wins.
@@CastSenpai Winning actually weakens your argument. Sakusa's Itachiyama beat Atsumu's Inarizaki in the Summer High National Tournament, which is why they're ranked #1 and #2, respectively. Again, anything that Kageyama can do, Atsumu can do...only better.
@@erict1628 Also in the top 5 aces ranking that is often brought up (Ushijima, Sakusa and Kiryu being top 3, Bokuto top 5), Sakusa is the only one not in his 3rd year, which is why he was at the Youth Camp. However Kageyama has already evolved quite a lot since the Youth Camp (thanks to the Date practice game), so it's kind of pointless to try ranking players (especially those that have different positions) based on outdated data. My take is : - Pure power and scoring ability : Ushijima - Setting : Atsumu & current Kageyama (he was inferior at Youth Camp) - Leadership : Oikawa and Kita, with 2 VERY different ways of going about it - Blocking : Aone, Kuroo, a few others (I'd love for Hirugami to be animated, but I fear the movie won't go that far) - Passing/Receiving : Yaku - Serving : Atsumu (the double-wielding makes the difference in my opinion) - All-Rounders : Sakusa & Hoshiumi for sure

I know he is said to be the best libero (though Yaku is still my GOAT and the libero on the best team for receives), but in the show and manga he has like one play as a libero (plus maybe a few touches at Youth Camp when they shuffled positions). When it comes to award (best setter, server, libero), important to remember they always go to players on teams that go pretty far. Oikawa never went to nationals so never even in contention for best server or setter, Yaku might suffer from the same thing as well and Komori won nationals so had a big spotlight (and I don’t wanna spoil the epilogue for Cast but I see Yaku & Komori as being kind of like Atsumu & Kageyama, a pair of monsters on equal standing, which gives teams (eg. Japan’s national team) quality options on the bench) Well anyway, hard to say definitely, but a nice conversation to have on the theory of things
