Absolutely fantastic video, Shay did a brilliant job helping the other guy 👍 but the both of you carrying the two pieces of stone you both deserve a medal 👍. Well done to everyone involved. 👏👏
Thanks so much for saving this important specimen for science, before it was too late. I'm glad that I could orchestrate this to be collected, and I'm incredibly grateful to you all for your time, generosity and expertise. It will now be studied and eventually placed on public display for generations to enjoy. A wonderful job. P.S. Sorry I couldn't help... being on crutches, I don't think I'd have been much help. I owe you help with the next one ;)
Thank you all! You have done a great service in furthering citizen science in paleontology. And to inspire those who wish to enter this academic field with your steadfast tenacity and hard work. Dr. Lomax To you I tip my hat, good sir.

I LOVE this video! So informative and fascinating. I could listen to that man talk all day... “Roadrunner from hell” 😆 Shae did an amazing job, and the excitement in Dad’s voice is infectious. Nice to see more of Dad too, not just his hands. Great teamwork everyone!
Thank you!! Haha, I loved that quote from John too 🤣😆 It was nice to get the whole family on, including my mum in quite a few scenes! And who also filmed quite a lot of it 🙏🦕🦖
What a blast! 😁 I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Had no idea how professional you guy's were. 👏👏 I learned quite a bit from the old Paleontologist. How honored you must feel to have been a main source in excavating this! Great video. 😎👍❤️
Fantastic episode guys! What a privilege to be invited to be part of this extraction/excavation, well deserved! Love that you included the background story as well as hearing the intressting words from Mr Hudson. Keeping my fingers crossed this isn't the last time you are getting involved in a similar operation.
I am so happy for you and your family to have had this amazing opportunity. What a great family experience to go down in your family history. Great video
You worked so very hard for this piece of amazing history! Thank you for publishing this on UA-cam for all of us to watch. It’s incredible how much strength it took for that.
Amazing work! Definitely put smiles in our face. From the looks of it, it must’ve been very tiring but extremely worth it. Great family and kudos to everyone! Really looking forward for more. ✅
I would have thought foot prints of large carnivores would be very rare things to find and by the sound of it this specimin is almost certainly going to have unique features not found on any other footprint in the world.. Great job guys, what an amazing thing to be a part of. Love to see it once its been restored..
SO AWESOME mate!!! absolutely delighted for you and your family, thank you also for creating + sharing this fantastic video to accompany the historic find. I hope to head up to Yorkshire at some point soon now lockdown is easing, it'd be great to go hunting together if and when... All the best! 🤩🤩🤩
The best part of this video was the work your family put into retrieving it from the beach, carried it along the rocks then up the hill, loaded it into the car, then off to wherever it ended up. But the main point was the father and two sons did nearly all the rock removal, go Shae, then the three of them did at least 90% of the hard graft, gotta give it to the girl though she sure did her part. It would have been nice to have your names mentioned. Fantastic job lads and Dad, stay healthy and COVID free, Cheers from the land of beer.
Hats off to you all for an amazing recovery of some important history..Stamina is an understatement for getting those blocks to the cliff tops..And Shae, you are a machine young fella..well done mate..

Well done guys! My heart was in my mouth the whole time as you carried it off the beach! Could no one have gotten a hold of a mover's dolly for the trip along the footpath to the parking lot?

What an excellent video, and what truly hard and delicate work your family put in to extracting that print. Thank you for all your efforts, both to save the print and to show us all about it. Question: Was there any discussion of if this was a left print or a right print? Are there any thoughts about incising further into the hill to see if there is a matching one or an impression of the dinosaur further reclining on a hip?
Thank you very much, I really appreciate that. That’s a good question actually, I wish I had asked! I’m sure that that is something that will be discussed when it is research a bit more back at the Museum. In terms of footprints at this location, one similar print has been found in the past, but nothing like the quality and detail of this one. I’m sure another print will be eroded from the cliff at some point, however whether or not is is as crisp and perfect as this one will be a different matter entirely 🦖🦕
