Fun fact, HalaCG who wrote and co-produced this song used to do a lot of anime rap cypher videos, and would often invite Ironmouse to participate as specific characters who matched her voice, with pre-written parts for her
Hope you will also look at her new cover of DanDa Dan as well. Always enjoy your break downs. Really looking forward to her album which Time to Feast is from, out early next year.
You should take a look at a Marathon for the drummer by Wintersun, Sons of Winter and Stars. The live rehersals at Sonic Pump Studios is The way to go.
Her voice is naturally high pitched, hence her training as a coloratura soprano. The damage to her throat from her MAC infection limited her access to her lower register, making it both difficult and painful for her to use, especially with the effect on her lungs reducing the power and stamina of her singing. As she's gotten stronger she's been able to push it further for longer, thanks to both her determination and access to better treatments. The difference between now and four years ago is night and day, despite setbacks along the way such as Long Covid and trying to speak Welsh. So yes, in a manner of speaking her voice used to be so high pitched because of her illness, but more because it stopped her going lower than from it raising it. If anything, from what she's said in the past it also cost her some of the really high stuff too, although she still goes up in the whistles occasionally. If you watch a clip from three or four years ago, you can even hear the difference in her speaking voice as she's now more comfortable lowering the pitch a little. As much as I've loved listening to her all this time, I do wish I'd been able to hear her at her best. Maybe one day she'll get back there, but get that beer first.
@@LacasseEric it's a bit of both, from what I remember. She already had a naturally high voice, but chronic illness basically wrecked her lower register. She can do a bit more with it nowadays, but it's still hard to do.
The studio that animated for this is run by a ex RWBY animator so your feeling was spot on.
Indeed. Some of these animators worked on RWBY and it's totally thewir style..
The 4 spirit designs were from a fan art contest Mouse held. They were the winners
YAY!!! I love your reactions!!! And i love Mousey =) So this is video for me! Thank you =)

She has sing some Shakira on stream before it is insane how close she gets to Shakira in those clips.
Love your reviews of Mousey and the other Vtuber songs. You should check out Mousey singing When I look at you or her opera singing of Ava Marie
tbf she does go lower. you should listen to her singing "When I Look At You - The Scarlet Pimpernel" if you haven't yet
I think her Shakira impression is the lowest she goes
@@daverboy I know there was one song she tries that has a section she struggles with, I can't for the life of me remember which it is.
Life nerfed her cuz she was wayyy too op
It's not that her voice is naturally high pitched, it's that her illness (and probably the treatments too) made her voice higher pitched than it was.
