Music : Tougas - composed in autumn 2019
Lyrics : David AB
Solo 1 : Forest Solo 2 : Tougas Solo 3 : Tougas Solo 4: Forest Solo 5 : Miller Solo 6 : Forest
Puis mon éclectisme me conduisit vers la gloire éternelle
The new Obscura is nice, but this album makes me feel like a teenager discovering tech death again. Incredible creativity.
I'm literally listening to A valediction while I'm finding out that this album has been released. When I finish A valediction, I will have to listen to this then.
Let me guess, as teenager you got blown out by necrophagist.'s first album.
The fact that this and archspire both drop on the same day is going to be historic in tech death world. 2021 has been a phenomenal year for tech death.
We need a drop from beyond for the epicness to be complete :p
I was just about to make the same comment. So pumped for tomorrow/later today
Yeah for sure. If only Virvum was to drop a new album this year too. But I respect the creative process, they can take their time.
Also the new Obscura is out today
When stars collide was just awful, how's the rest of the album?
This band is proof that metal will always push the bounds of creativity to create new and incredible sounds. 💕🤘
Indeed.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
At it’s peak. It’s valleys are just as low. But yeah: this album and anything this band does is just absurdly good.
This absolutely blew me away, but that’s normal for First Fragment.
glad to see you here sir!
@@darrendasenlee Hey man! Which song from here or bleed the future are you going to learn first?
@@Davis-kz8rq im currently learning solus, and also i hope i will get the bass tabs of gloire eternelle from forest soon!
@@darrendasenlee that's awesome that he would help out a fan like that.
@@Davis-kz8rq hahahaha i learn bass from forest,he helped me all the time
It's like a concerto for metal band. Completely virtuosic!
Look up Concerto by Obscura or Cacophony
IT REPEATS. THE ENDING OF THE ALBUM COINCIDES WITH THE BEGINNING. HOLY SHIT.
Seriously, i fucking love the transitions. Same with the rain one in De Chair Et De Haine going into Sonata En Mi Mineur
Thank you for telling me this. I've been caught in the eternal loop for 2 weeks now.....not a bad place to be stuck, I must say
Love how the bass takes so much spotlight in their songs it’s refreshing
you would not dislike StarGazer from Australia, check it out!
Job for a cowboy's last album Sun Eater has a wild bassist too. Really proggy.
@@scottbrowne785 StarGazer is great and, yeah, The Great Righteous Destroyer is an incredible player.
Soreption is another band that has very prominent bass.
Once in a while a band that sets the bar way over everyone else’s head come along, thank you First Fragment, for being you.
LES GOOOO ARCHSPIRE AND FF IN ONE DAY
This is probably the most fun you can have with tech death if I'm honest
Just got finished listening to the whole album and I got to say, First Fragment has really set a new standard and raised the bar for tech death and metal in general. Start to finish the album is insanely good! It's one of those rare albums which you can listen from start to finish and never have the urge to skip a track because it's bad, boring, or weird.
Damn, I haven't heard a Tech Death band make latin music this good since Atheist. 😂
check Valsa Pintura - The Emulsion you might like the song
Try Acrania dude!
@@TheSurrealist. what, what song

It's folk lol
This is the most unique death metal I've ever heard! This album is amazing!
They should play this at Guantanamo Bay. Honestly one of the worst things I have ever heard. God Bless
Gorod vibes
Hey First Fragment, may creativity never leave your sound, we will need a long time to assimilate this.
levels above everybody else. i've never heard a song like this.
Seriously.. most creative band ever
If Choppin met Francisco Tarrega and made a tech death album.
archspire and first fragment same day.. lets fcking goooo
My body flew away to the abyss at the first few seconds
First Fragment, Archspire, and Defeated Sanity are pushing the boundaries of metal, and music in general, and I for one am so grateful that I am alive to hear it. Cheers, mates.
Album of the Year, no competition
Oui
Oui
Oui
First the Archspire album being dropped today and then just a few hours first Fragment releases their new track?!?!
WHAT?!
This song needs a playthrough
The entrance of this song is simply amazing! Chills!
thats how you start off an album, dayummmm
My nachos moshed with the salsa 🍺 🔥
Wow, this is wild. Glad to hear my fellow Canadians have created an amazing album.
Haven't felt like this in a long time, such an amazing album. I feel like a kid again discovering a whole new sound/genre, this is so great thank you guys 🖤
Thats great! Hi from Brazil. Techdeath de qualidade rapaziada.
🇧🇷
This album is already a favorite and I'm only on the first track! 🙌
This album is everything I hoped for, my ears are bleeding and I've gone blind in one eye but it was totally worth it.
Thanks in all ways and forms.
love from iran ❤
that gorod style groove tho
They had gorod's drummer at one point.
I would never have imagined that french lyrics would fit so well for death metal music .... ça déboîte sa race !!! 🤘
Second time listening to this album, after having listened to Bleed the Future once... had to listen to this immediately after completion. Thank you FF 🤘😎
This is one of the best contemporary compositions. This will be referenced and studied. It's simply that good.
those amazing spanish influences and classical elements were what made me notice first fragment in the first place. and, you know, the insane speed and technicality
Uncontrollably twerking to this
I’m on vacation next month great vacation tunes
in love!
coisa linda!
viajando legal nesse album.
Parabens. E muito obrigado, First fragment.
Lindo!
Crazy diverse sound 🔥
That riff in the middle makes me think of Majin Buu.
Some tech death band use music to play technicality, which can just sound like a lot of noodling and feels shallow.
Then there’s bands like First Fragment, who use technicality to play music, and this is some damn fine music.
Can you think of some bands that sound like the first, and any more bands that sound like the second
@@spicymeatballs2thespicening Brain Drill. While they are very talented sometimes they get way too technical. To the point where it’s kinda boring. They aren’t bad just need some variety.
@@spicymeatballs2thespicening A good description of the second would be Virvum.
This is noodly...
@@R3tr0v1ru5 not as noodly as Dasein. :P
Absolutely love it
Brilliant!
Excellent
Incredible!!!!!❤
This album is a masterpiece.
Waooo!!! Bravo!!!
No one : can you play instruments faster?
First Fragment: Yes!!!
This album is amazing
Hallucinant ! Des virtuoses.
Awesome
I had to listen 3 times just to get a sense of the melody and song structure of when the blasting started! Hot damn!
Metal to go skiing !
The solos are so Malmsteen esque. Love it.
Makes malmsteen look like a pop punk guitarist
@@serpentinefire921 Why the disrespect?
@@480borat truth isn't disrespect unless you're weak as fuck. Malmsteen was a god in the 80s, but the bar has been raised highly. Most of the older guys will naturally get left behind. To me, James Marshall Hendrix, and Mark knopfler are the greatest guitarists of all time, but Mark couldn't play tech death and neither could Jimi if he was still with us. Just the facts.
Sick track 🖤 dope bass 🖤🖤🖤
Superbe!
BEAUTIFUL!
Unique!
This album!!!!!
Headbang always on
artist: kicks ass song: kicks asss
Holy fuck this is very unique sounding in the most kick ass way
Killer!
How many groove do you want?
First Fragment: Yes
HOLY SHIIIIIIT!!!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
This entire album was as jaw dropping to listen to as discovering tech death was for the first time some 18sh years ago when I was in high-school and nobody heard of anything like it and just simply melted faces. Necrophagist/the faceless level of jaw dropping allover again man absolutely AMAZING.
❤ #homifellas
This is sick. I just love it. Metal is way over distortion. Congratulations. Right now this should be the standard. I wish
This shit slaps so hard ngl. On my 5th listen!
Hhahah la fin m’as tue du grand génie
You guys are truly amazing. I think you finally just dethroned btbam as my favorite band for like 15 years standing. Great work guys!
Btbam lol
For me its just like if this album was all the old riffs that I digged of FF mixed in a one!! Sick shit.. near perfect 🤘🤘🤘
My new favorite disk, xd
YAY!
The day has come...
YES 🖤
it took samba to another level
Thank you all so much
Anyone know if they've released a tab/ score book for this album?
This intro reminds me of hyperthrash one, amazing!
RIP NYLITHIA.
this album is the top mondial in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
🤯🤘🖤
the bassist mixed this song
I don't know why but it reminds me if Voivod was mixed with power metal and death metal. And they spoke French
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤯
So i guess the bass player mixed this? ;) sounds mental!
🔥👍👿
Bass power engage
100% 💯
I wonder what this would sound like with a James Labrie kinda voice...
HOLY SHIT
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I can clearly hear some Septuagint influence in this one!! Love it!
There is none. This song is inspired by other First Fragment songs and parts, the same way the lyrics are directly linked to Dasein (our previous record) conceptually.
@@PhilTougas Omg, now i hear it. Even bigger goosebumps. My apologies man, you are geniuses.
