This is glorious, been searching for "craft fair calendar 2018" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Honsaac Qonandon Cure - (do a search on google )?
It is a great one off guide for getting Fairs And Festival listings minus the hard work. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my co-worker got excellent results with it.

I loved the lighted Snowman box! Can’t believe it didn’t sell. Funny that the things that sold well I wouldn’t have bought and stuff that didn’t, I’d have bought...but I’m old so that probably has something to do with it. It could be the region you sell in that has an over abundance of the same things so maybe elsewhere you might sell more. So many cute cute things you made. Your wealth of knowledge is incredibly helpful to me since my husband will be retiring soon. How do you come up with pricing your items? They seem so inexpensive but didn’t sell. Anyway, again thank you for all your information

I think you did very well! Everything is so cute that you made! Love the lighted box! I quit doing them a few years ago! Got to be way too much work and stress on me! I was spending more than what I was making back so just could not keep doing that🙁 It's so hard to sell your items! That's why I like making things and giving them away as Gifts but I need to make some money 😊 Think I will try and sell some things as a destash once I go through things and see what I can let go. I am always donating and giving away things but this year I really need to sell what ever I can to make money for items I know I will need. Know I gave some doubles on things I could sell unless I have given them all away. Hope I still have some stuff left 😍 Happy New Year and God bless you 🎉💜😇

My friend and I were soured on craft fairs a few years ago. I did applique with glitter paint for children on sweatshirts, shirt and pant combos and sweatshirt dresses. He did air brushing on tee shirts for adults. At the fair, another woman near us had foil on tee shirts for adults. None of us were selling anything. We were perfectionists and sold a lot by word of mouth. So why was everyone buying tee shirts from the woman on the next aisle? Because she lowered her prices to $5 per shirt. No way was she making a profit but she was happy to be selling them!

    • @RaechelleBennett782

Hi. I'm in Canada too! Community craft fairs are the most profitable. I've been very successful in the last four I did. If you can make something that requires a skill, that is good. The problem is that when something sells well, Everybody copies it the following year. So either make something that requires a particular skill or talent, or just pick something new each year to be ahead of the game. I average $1500 - $2000 in one weekend at a community fair. That fair gets the most exposure from the smaller venues. Good luck!!! 😍

Might be a good idea to let us know where you were location wise in the video. I would think it might change how much money you made if you were in a bad location at the fair. Like is it better to be located at the back or in the front?
Also it would help if you would show a picture of the items that sold out instead of just telling us to refer to other videoes. If someone hasn't seen your videos they don't know what you are talking about
About the item that didn't sell that was made better than other people's... Maybe that's because you were towards the back so they bought the bad one before they saw yours. They might have wished they saw yours first but it was too late because they already bought the other one

Hi, I live by the 300% rule. This way you filter in material costs, time to make the item and what your profit is. I sold 6-inch painted pillar candles for $6.00 each. The candle costs $2. Doesn't sound like much, but I sold 200 candles and made $1,200. Painting my candles took 10 min each. That's a pretty good profit, kept the price reasonable and they sold like hotcakes.
