Thank you. this video was extremely helpful to me! You answered a lot of questions that I had about how all of this works. You helped me finalize some decisions that I had been pondering for the last few months and you also helped me save THOUSANDS of DOLLARS that could be spent in a lot of other ways that could benefit the community instead of wasting it on shipping knives that I can't even use properly to give a fair and honest review on.

Im not saying those pass arounds are bad. it is cheaper then buying all the new knives. but its still costs. and yeah its all about the content really. if you just want as much content as you can then sure it works. do you really want to use the knife and give a full review of it then its probably not the way to go.

I'm actually doing my first real full video for this weekend and it already involves this subject, it has to do with the economics, realistic and long term reviews, etc. Buying quality over budget, quality over quantity. I cannot afford $5000 on shipping, that's like a really nice complete set of field gear and I'm short on gear!! Not to mention I had no intentions of bein a knife channel, more of a bushcraft channel, the channel name is a bit of a give away. lol I will be featuring one knife maker for 95% of my knife needs. I believe in brand loyalty. I really did find your video extremely valuable. I appreciate it greatly.@@WKNDER1

@@bushcraftrebooted I figured your chanbel would not be a knife channel lol. As mind is no longer a knife channel either. Mine is about outdoor and outdoor gear. Brand loyalty is good but don’t forget to always evolve in your equipment and your craft. But at the same time to be redundant as well.

A loooooooooooooooooooootttttt of channels!!!! Its a big con game. I quit spending money to ship knives that don't belong to me and saved that money to buy a motorcycle. LOL Thank you for your honesty. Its a rare thing in the UA-cam knife community.

Yeah that’s the game unfortunately. But we can choose to do it differently. I guess it just separates us from them.

Sounds good to me, brother. I love Scab's content, so what you are talking about seems similar. You actually are the one who let me know about his channel. I am forever grateful for that!

Yea my one gripe with the pass arounds was that you couldnt really use the knives. It definitely allowed you to check out more knives, but ultimately resulted in a very bland review

exactly man. it really does just make it to where your video is just your opinion of basically holding the knife lol.

Cardboard contains sodium silicate, super abrasive to an edge. It's true that abundant experience will develop an intuition about ergos and performance, but it's more true that you really won't know until you put full tension and real world use on a design.
Btw, From what I see l love the aesthetic choices on the house exterior and super jealous of your driveway. I don't have the room for that and the street parking directly in front is two spaces. We lost our old neighbors (the best) and get this, the new neighbor moved in put a portable b ball net on the curb and refuses to park next to it so they deliberately park in the middle and take up both spaces... and that's minor compared to what else they do.
For the life of me, I don't understand why people would choose to live in "civilization" over wide open spaces.

I have a super long driveway. And it opens up to my parking area. Usually there’s 2 trucks and one car and my small trailer. It was I feel the best idea we ever had was to pick this spot to build instead of the ten others that were our choice at the time. But I am ready to sell and move out to eastern Oregon on some acres.

Thats a bum deal, i always knew it was fugazy, these pass arounds...i hope you can find something to do on the tube that makes you content. ..i agree on the "table top" reviews...not enough on their own
