I just moved from The Cities to a small town (still in MN) and Homecoming here was a pretry big deal! Bigger than the town I moved from did. Even my teens commented on it. Were not a sports family at all so it was interesting and really kinda cool to see how this town is so tight knit and celebrates their town pride. It made me very happy to know moving out here was a good choice for our family.
That's awesome. When we left the twin cities to our small town it just instantly felt so right. It's way more chill here. Parents are not competitive about education here.. Hard to describe. It's just very laid back and our school cares about kids being social with each other etc. Kindergarten up in the cities vs small town MN is a huge difference. I'm so thankful Charlie didn't have to be in school there. He would have struggled majorly.
Amy I'm totally the same with the 8passengers. Liked them in the beginning then watched them become it was such a scary train wreck. The farm looks so beautiful. It's been so cold at night here in Central Iowa. It makes me dread winter.

School lunch is free now so he's been eating lunch at school everyday but I get pictures of everything and I help him with carb counting although he's been doing some of it himself too.
I have always loved smaller UA-cam channels because they’re more relatable and down to earth. All the older UA-camrs I used to love watching I no longer fallow because they have changed so much.
It's such an act now. It feels like they are trying too hard. I miss their old selves. 😜
I feel the same re 8 Passengers! My daughter and i watched when Eve and Russell were tiny, and it's honestly like they were our neighbors. We stopped watching when they got extreme with the parenting, and got the bigger house, expensive trips, etc. It's so strange now, and sad to think what happened to those kids. 😢

My sister is obsessed with her color palate! She got the draping done at House of Color and carries her color cards around with her everywhere to test match her best colors. I would guess you are a winter and silver jewelry would be best.

Been watching you since you were pregnant with Henry. I was pregnant with our youngest at the time. Can’t believe their 14 now 😢 my oldest was only 9 at that time and he’s 23 now and got married last weekend if that shows how long it’s been. Keep being great!😊

I've never heard of a color test. Sounds fun. I'd play off your blue eyes and wear blue more. Now that Fall is here, however, I'd think you'd look nice wearing those autumnal colors mixed together. I think you're a silver jewelry girl. You already wear it and it suits you. Eyeshadow for blue eyes I read that copper, brown, gold and peach are good colors (a nude eyeshadow palette). Like this sit down video where you just share whatever is on your mind.

Please be careful with items with synthetic fragrances Amy. Major causes of headaches in some people and can cause other health issues. You are such a wonderful DIYer, you could make your own candles with organic oils and choosing healthy waxes!! Thank you for sharing with us! Your growing boys and farm life are beautiful to watch!!
Yes!!! I looked it up a year ago but it was really expensive for good quality wax so I never ended up trying but I want to make candles someday.

I’ve always wanted to do the color analysis too! House of Color is a company you can see if is anywhere near you. I wanted to treat myself to it one day! Yours would be interesting bc you’re fair with darker hair. I go by what my face looks like when I put a color on. If I feel good I keep it on, If it washes me out I take it off. What brings out my eyes etc..

I thought I was the only one who gets headaches from burning candles, I wonder what causes that...but I love seasonal candles.
For some reason I was able to burn this one. It's actually almost gone I've been enjoying it so much. But it's been so many years since I've actually burned a candle. I cannot use bath & body works at all. Those are terrible for me.

I didn't see your recipe video in my subscriptions, but I will go check it out! Also curious how the candle burning went - I struggle with scents in general, so often get unscented cleaning supplies and don't get to burn candles very often.
I really want to make my own candles but when I looked up the ingredients it added up to being really expensive. Because you have to buy a certain kind of wax I can't remember what kind but it was organic bee wax of some sort.

I can make a lot of different kind of meals but one meal that my family will not eat is cooked pasta. Baked pasta sorry. Henry and I will eat lasagna and Andy but that's the only kind.
@@dreamflight6000that’s so funny! I’m not a pasta/spaghetti person but one way I do like it is baked! Gives it a different flavor, especially with the ricotta cheese. I mean it’s pretty much the same as lasagna but just I use rotini or penne lol. It’s easy for my 1 year old to pick up and eat, too.

It's been life changing. I rarely think about diabetes anymore. I rarely get up at night anymore. It's the best thing ever. No adjustment time for Henry. Really.. It's the best thing that ever happened to us.

Yeah. I followed and unfollowed 8 passengers like you for the same reasons. The channel did get weird at one point.
It definitely got weird. I was really done after a few weird incidents with Julie. She asked twice.. Do we have to film this? Ruby not only kept on filming but made her repeat things she said multiple times. Ugh. Poor kids.

The entire “Travel all 50 states before Bailey gets her period” was just so awkward and wrong. They never had any intention of visiting all 50 states and collected people’s money based on a lie. The fact that Brooklyn only wanted her “blood” sisters in her wedding and initially wanted to cut Paisley out. Yep. That happened. I could go on all day but I won’t waste any more breath on them. I don’t follow them anymore. They’re not my type of people.
