Nice. I would have put a strong magnet on the part that bows up and screw a washer onto the frame. Magnet and washer sunk in to the wood of course. Magic! :)

How did you secure the sides to the pallet wood base I couldn't see any reference to that in the video or plans,great build by the way👌👍
Thanks. I didn’t it’s heavy enough with the sides and top on. It and with 200kg of sand the base isn’t going anywhere!

Just wondering, why put a floor to the sandpit? Why not just put a weedmat on the ground and sand on top ?
The ground was a bit rough and stony so thought this would make more usable.
Maybe not a floor board 😅
any issue with the sandbox collecting rainwater??? I noticed the gaps in the wood that will let the water in
No the sand does get damp but doesn’t collect water as it drains through. 👍🏼
You need to have damp sand to be playable with
